Parcel has not been collected for two consecutive days already. Hermes provides a most disgusting and shameful service. Tried to contact them through live chat and had to wait 17 minutes for an available agent who wasn't able to help me out nor guarantee me that the parcel would be collected. All that was offered was that the matter would be reported to the relevant department.

My parcel was due for delivery on Monday between 17.00 & 19.00. I arrived home at 16.20 to find a Hermes card through the door. Then I got a notification saying delivery had been attempted at 17.01. It had not but I assume the driver couldn’t be bothered to come back. I had a notification to say delivery would be tried Tuesday. I stayed in all day. I received a notification to say my parcel had been delivered & signed for by me, to my address (a squiggle of a signature shown on their tracker). I went and asked all my neighbours & 2 local shops. I checked the bins & behind the walls. I raised a query with Hermes (all the time wondering if one of my neighbours had stolen my parcel) Then today, 48 hours later, I receive another notification to say my parcel would be delivered today. It now actually has turned up for real. It’s shocking that they employ drivers who would lie about the time they tried to deliver, fake a signature and lie about delivering a parcel. It is also impossible to speak to an actual person at Hermes, on the phone or via email. They are a nightmare company. I can only assume they have contracts all watertight and pinned down for years and that’s why companies stay with them.

Next Day delivery parcels are ALWAYS late a few days due to shortness of staff!!! absolutely ridiculous! And the tracking d a et keeps saying attempted delivery when nobody buzzed our door. Absolute excuses. Parcels always delayed.

Terrible standard of service,got a text to say parcel would be deliverd next day between 12-1pm.Then got another text to say parcel delayed,would now be 1-2pm.Then they said would be another delay,this time of 24hrs..In tne end,they never showed up at all,and never even bothered to text! Had to ring company parcel had been sent by.They should be renamed Hopeless Hermes

I returned an item I bought from an Ebay merchant, "futureprofits2012" via a pick up point in Wadebridge, Cornwall. The merchant supplied me with the return label. The seller informs me that it never reached them so I didn't get a refund. Time, fuss, irritation, and out of pocket by £22.23. Trying to contact Hermes was very difficult so I gave up. It didn't recognise my tracking number! Alan

Worst delivery service I have ever used. Parcel status was updated as delivered on website and was nowhere to be found when I arrived home. I contacted customer service- you can’t even speak to anyone over the phone, and have to navigate a series of useless options to even find where to submit a query. Asked about my parcel and received a reply about how it had been handed to one of the residents. My flat mates were all in at the time and no one heard the doorbell ring even though it is very loud. I pointed this out and then they changed their story and sent me a photo of my parcel half-stuffed into my front door letterbox. Bear in mind I live on a busy main road and my door is clearly visible/accessible from the street. Clearly someone had taken it out of my letterbox. They denied any responsibility and I had to bring it up with the shop I ordered from, who gave me a refund immediately- it appears as though this is a regular sort of occurrence with the courier Hermes. Worst delivery experience.

Worst service. Forged my partners signature to say he had accepted the parcel when it was left on the doorstep outside. Customer services couldn’t care less. The next day said another package was left with a neighbour. Guess what? It wasn’t... Avoid at all costs.

Another awful package delivered. I ordered a computer which arrived an I package that was half open, ripped and battered which goes to show how amazing treat our packages when we give then money for it. Contacted customer services, they don't care and did nothing.

Unable to find my house, despite giving exact location and and access instructions. Why is it always hermes that fails to deliver. We have between one and two parcels per day without issues, even thos that do get stuck just call me for I am not buying from anyone that uses Hermes and I will tell them why

I've sent many parcels with successfully with Hermes until now. They have simply not delivered a parcel and there is no customer service on the telephone. Instead you are strung back and forth with repetitive emails or just ignored. I took out insurance on the package but how someone would make a claim is beyond me when they don't answer your queries. Shambolic!

This delivery company Hermes should be shut down and rid off... it is the most shambolic company ever run, organised by total idiots and scammers; delivery drivers steal and never deliver parcels. I had a card through the letter box, stating the package had been left by the front door - the item was never found. I was told the driver had previous criminal convictions for theft! I will hopefully put this case to the supreme court and have Hermes it shut down, soon as possible!

How on earth is this company still going. Our local delivery people are a total disgrace they leave parcels in the front garden for all to see, no cards left they forge our signatures and they are getting away with it. It is impossible to call Hermes and actually speak to a person. Disgusting awful shabby service.

One star is too good for Hermes. They are absolutely diabolical. Our local driver thinks nothing of signing for our parcels, and then clearing off with them. Online retailers MUST stop using Hermes.

This week I have received three “sorry I missed you“ slips in close succession, one while I was in the house and two in the same day (claiming you have attempted delivery twice, which I doubt) a day later. I have just spent the past twenty minutes trying to communicate with Hermes’ supposed “friendly digital assistant Holly“, to no avail at all, I am repeatedly being asked what my name is, and getting a response that Holly can’t understand my name. If this wasn’t bad enough there is no person answering the customer service line either. The only message I can find in the tracking app is that I must contact the retailer, who is not named and for whom no number is given. There are several mentions on The Hermes website stating that they will accept emails, but no email address included. After this terrible experience with Hermes, I am going to complain to the vendor and the ombudsman as this is completely substandard service.

WARNING Very bad company lost my 5 of parcels some refuse to pay lost compensation saying not responsible for potable items. Very rude and every time have to wait for 30 to 50 minutes wait to speak some one. Trust me you will regret using their service so their driver take parcels to home do not deliver. You will end up losing you parcel & money.

Literally the worst delivery company in UK, How can a courier cannot find an address for almost a week? A place I’ve lived for 5years and never had an issue with deliveries. And always when I pay for next day delivery they always deliver 2 or 3 days after. I seriously think companies should stop working with them, it’s the worst.
