“I recently purchased 1 pair of showplaces for my Car. I placed the order for the plates to have a blue border to match my car. I am a car enthusiast & have restored my car so attention to detail matters. On receiving my plates I found that the border on the yellow was Black! I thought that I had made a mistake & so double checked my order & the detail again online. After receiving a reply from My Showplaces it seems that the yellow does not allow the Blue border. I was disappointed & not happy with the service. It was explained to me that this minor detail is in the small print. I do not think that this was fair at all. The website clearly asked you for details as you click your preference & an example is shown...Great! Why is this not taken out of the equation totally in the first place so you do not have the option? It’s like order a brand new car in blue from the colour shown in the catalogue & then when it arrives in black...the dealer says sorry did you ready the small print!! I have just taken my vehicle off the road for winter but I am already looking at purchasing new plates to replace them. I shouldn’t have to. The website feature/option is very misleading. “I was asked to write a review. I ordered 2 pairs of rear number plates to use on trailers. It's a while since I received my plates so I don't remember how quickly they came but I think it was quite quick. Trailer number plates aren't very exciting but they do the job with no problems.”

“I would never use again, or recommend them. Bought a standard plate (which turns out not actually road legal) but aside from that, there was dirt trapped behind the film so great bubbles, so even if was just a show plate, you would not use it. I contacted them, and advised wanted photographic evidence, so sent this. They then wanted plates back, se sent back recorded, they refused to originally sign for parcel so remained at post office for 6 weeks. Eventually sent back to them and took weeks to refund original cost, I have still never received the refund for return postage (which they are liable for under distance selling regulations) multiple emails, still no response, 2 phone calls and just fob me off. No doubt will soon appear on rogue traders. AVOID AT ALL COSTS, ARE A BUNCH OF COWBOYS.”

“Awesome, fast service. I ordered these on a Tuesday and they were at my door on Friday. Actually, becuase I missed the Postman, it actually took longer picking them up at the Post than the company shipping them. I would highly recomend.”
