Ordered 10 'Crompton' strip lights. The bulbs came quickly, well packed, but they were not Crompton, they were Bells. I have had these before and they weren't any good, so hope these last longer. Disappointed the goods weren't as advertised, would have preferred it if they stated no brand, then I could have maybe made a different decision.

Faux pas! Begging email requesting a review arrived before consignment, whose status from Fedex is "Goods Not Received At Del Depo"! Silly PR mistake. Order only made 4 days ago and it is a Bank Holiday weekend, so not actually late yet, but not looking good.

You advised that the two items I had ordered are out of stock but gave me only a vague indication of when they would be back in stock and you would deliver. You should have included a clear option to cancel my order.

Hi Richard, Thank you for leaving us a review, we are sorry for the inconvenience with your order. When an item is out of stock we email to say 5-7days delivery, then when we get a confirmed date we email with a delivery date. Your order has now come into stock before the 5-7days so you would not of received the email. Your order will be sent out today and we will email you tracking details when available. This item I order turned out to not be in stock, despite the website showing that it was. It was very easy to get in touch and cancel my order and receive a refund.

Received the goods in good time, but was disappointed when emailed to say that the items do not fit and was looking for advise if you had an alternative size and as of yet have not had a reply,. Have now returned these items with a note instead regarding replacements or refund.

Fast delivery and well packaged The quality of the finish looks a bit rough but National Lamps quickly got back to me to explain why and how it is made, which goes a long way to reassuring me this is normal and shows an interest. Thank you.

Hi Christine, Many thanks for the review, This is the way the lamps are suppose to be, there is a 2mm gap between the lamps and outer tube and the ceramic ends, all this improves with the ventilation, the outer tubes are also fixed which makes them more stable. The lamps have always been like this and are still 118mm long and no longer at all. Our lamps life is 8,000 hours which is 60% longer than our competitors who can only offer 5,000 hours. I can assure you that the lamps performance is first class, we sell thousands of them per week without any issues. Thanks and Regards National Lamps and Components
