“Despite National Lamps correctly addressing my parcel, the Post Office in their wisdom, did not. With the help of Chris, my parcel was tracked down and eventually delivered to me today 17 March, some 10 days after despatch. Many thanks to Chris in he National Lamps office who was very helpful. “It wasn't easy to find the bulb I needed (to fit under a German-made kitchen unit) but National Lamps had them in stock and delivered promptly and well-packaged.”

“The difference between good and very good, was down to making no reference on the web page at point of ordering, that items over 3ft long are deemed as abnormal, and that they would be on 3 working days delivery. 2 led lamp battens 4 ft long weighed nothing. I also lost 24 hours delivery prediction due to having to confirm the delivery address, this was different to the billing address, the company emailed me and asked me to confirm, by the time I viewed my emails had lost another day. Having said all that, I am really impressed with the led battens, super lightweight and bright enough to light the Albert Hall. Thanks Guys”

“I wanted a replacement 35w light tube for a kitchen strip light and found that it appears to have become obsolete recently. I used to be able to purchase it in B&Q, Homebase etc., for around £4. I searched the internet and National Lamps and Components was one of the few websites I found that exactly specified the lamp I needed. I was somewhat off-put by the high price of around £12 each plus high postage cost, Total £26 for two lamps. OUCH! Left with little alternative but to have to change my light fitting I bit the bullet and paid the high price. However, on the plus side the lamp tubes arrived expertly and securely packed, in just three days and were exactly what I needed. So good service and product. Pity about the price!”

“I've used this company over several years and I've been happy with the service. On the last occasion I received an email warning me that they were awaiting stock. The items arrived after an extra delay of a few days. It would have been good to receive a stock warning at the time of order rather than after the order was made.”

“I ordered the item required and wasn't told that the item was out of stock until payment was made. This however was not a great problem as I received the delivery fairly soon after the order was placed. All in all a good experience.”

“Quick delivery and goods as described. Web site uses jargon like "SES" for something I would call "small screw fitting" but the info is all there if you hunt for it.”

“Although I haven't yet received my order just going through the proceedureo of my order seemed to go preety smoothly.I was abit confused about the my delivery time date, so I rang a pleasant gentleman this morning, who explained they were out of stock at the time of ordering, but was now in,I have now received an email to say they could be delivered in 2 to 3 days. Thanking everyone concerned.”

“Ordered 12th. November. Acknowledged 23th. but still has'nt arrived. Parcel arrived a couple of hours after the above review was written. Items arrived well packaged and as described. They arrived by Royal Mail which is not the best in my area. Seems to take a lot longer to arrive.”
