“Prior to appointing Nest I was a little dubious at using an online company & went down the usual route of getting 3 quotes from high street estate agents. I then thought "what's the harm?", gave Nest in Essex a call & invited the owner Nick (Cheshire) round to view & give us a quote. The fee quoted was inexpensive & saved us thousands of pounds compared to the next cheapest competitor.
We are so glad we appointed Nest, as from the start Nick was honest, realistic, polite & professional with no false promises or pressure to get our business. I tried getting an idea on fees through local agents and nobody was willing to give me a figure over the phone, my house was valued at £350,000 and the cheapest i got quoted was 1.2%. This was after a day of valuations (other wouldn't quote unless i had somebody come to value my home).
