Hi Carla! Thanks for being a fan of our deo :) We understand that using a cream/paste might not be for everyone. At the moment we're not looking at changing No Pong or adding an applicator to our packaging. As a helpful tip, some customers use a brush or sponge for makeup, others use popsicle sticks, or use the back of their fingers or nuckle to scoop, and one customer said that they use an old roll-on that they dip into the tin and use that to apply :) I hope those creative ways have given you an idea how you'd do yours. It really takes time to get used to it as we are all too used to those chemical-based sprays and sticks. Most importantly, we don't want to introduce any more waste and it is a good opportunity to check your armpits for lumps and give them a bit of love ❤️

“Works pretty good, I was hoping it would be a bit better. The tin it comes in is the biggest problem. I get environmentally friendly, but as a person with a disability the tin can be quite difficult and frustrating to open and sometimes it’s just not worth the hassle. Two positives are that my 14 year old daughter loves it and it works well for her and it’s good to be in touch with your armpits so you can monitor for any changes.”

“I recently switched from antiperspirant to aluminum-free deodorant because I was tired of that sticky, hard-to-clean feeling that antiperspirant left behind. I tried an array of brands from live clean, to native, to Schmidts, as well as an array of different scents. Some didn't work at all, some worked half-day, some 3/4, but none made it through the day without me smelling like b/o. Finally gave no pong a try and it seems to be the winner. It keeps me smelling good all day. The only reason I don't give it 5 star is because I do find it dries out my armpits and sometimes irritates them/causes a rash. But that's likely because of the bicarbonate, so I'm going to try their sensitive formula next. Otherwise, I recommend it. Especially for the price. And don't let the small tin fool you. At first, I thought "jeez, this isn't going to last me long at all!" But I'm going on two/three weeks and I don't even think I've used 1/4 of the product!”

“The quality of the product is great, however, 2 out of 3 tins that I ordered came damanged and had dents in them. I ordered them as gifts so that was unfortunate.”

“I love No Pong - but the one thing that would make it better, is a larger size package. The tins are cute & handy, but I'd love to see a few months' supply in one pot / jar.”

“I've been using No Pong for over 3 years now and I love it. I'm not sure how I feel about the monthly subscription. I remember when I first signed up they encouraged buying bulk to avoid carbon footprint, yet now they want us to subscribe to a monthly service when I could just order a year's worth of tins and just do shipping once a year. There should be a yearly subscription offered for cheaper to encourage more of us to reduce carbon footprint. Please think about this.”

“No pong is one of the best natural deodorants I’ve ever used. I’ve tried so many different brands, but No pong out-performed them all. The original scent and the chai scent are both really good - not overpowering at all, subtle, and just enough of a scent to feel fresh and clean. The only reasons I give it 4 stars is because: the tins are so small, and the value for money isn’t that great when you consider how fast a tin is used up. I wish there were bigger tins at a better price point!”

Hi there! Thank you for taking the time to review us and provide your feedback. We are happy to hear it works well for you and that you enjoy our subtle scents :) In regards to the tin size, we did keep that in mind for cost-effectiveness for shipping purposes. However, we are currently trialing a larger size and this idea is in the works! Our tins are designed to last for at least one month under the direction of using only a pea-sized amount daily. In addition, we have received much feedback from customers that they can make their tins last them 2-3 months! A little bit does go a long way 👌

“When I first tried no pong I loved it! I hadn't had success with a local brand, so I gave no pong a try. I didn't have to reapply during the day. The non-scented bicarbonate free worked best with my skin. I would sometimes get some red irritation with the regular stuff. After awhile my body chemistry changed and I can't use it anymore as it isn't as effective for me, but when it worked, i loved it.”

“I love everything about No Pong Original - the smell, how well it works, and how it feels. The only issue is a sensitivity after I've shaved (or during the heat dome in BC this summer). Simple solution: I switch to the bicarbonate-free version when I'm having sensitivity.”

“LOVE this deodorant. Works amazing! I prefer the low scent/no scent ones as I do find the stronger scents leaves a weird smell by the end of the day. Best deodorant I have ever used.”

Yes, we don’t recommend applying No Pong straight after shaving and it’s also good to wait until your pores have closed before applying after a shower. Some of our customers have reported using the bicarb-free or vegan fragrance-free variant on shaving days and have had no issues!
