“I have tried many natural deodorants, none of which have worked. I had a good feeling about No Pong and I was right! No Pong is so effective, it works better for me than "regular" deodorant. The only drawback and the reason its losing a star is because if I apply it after shaving my armpits, it stings really badly. This is even after waiting the recommended 15 minutes, and even if I don't nick myself. But the deodorant is so effective I am considering repurchasing anyway! I also love that it is Canadian.”

I’m really sorry to hear about the stinging after shaving, though. Even when waiting a little while, some people can find the bicarb in our Original formulas a bit tingly on freshly shaved skin. You might find our Bicarb Free range a gentler option if you find that you have senstive skin – it’s designed specifically for sensitive skin and will still keep you fresh. “I really liked the deodorant and I bought 6 small jars Spicy Chai Original. It smelled nice and went on beautifully, however it gave my daughter and I both a rash in armpits so I had to stop using it. 🫣”

“I still find that I have a little bit of B.O but this is the best natural deoderant I’ve used so far. I have tried a lot and this one was great for: not leaving white marks, not staining my clothes and was easy to apply. Has a fresh clean scent, but I do find throughout the day I do have a little bit of B.O so I need to reapply throughout the day but other than that it’s a great deodorant! I would be willing to try a different kind to see if my B.O will go away.”

“I tried 3 different Pongs. Original is my favourite. I'm testing this stuff hard. I'm menopausal, I sweat a lot inbetween hot flashes. I work outside in the heat and I spend most of my free time playing outside. It does work...but if I don't reapply once or twice throughout the day my pits smell. This need to reapply is something I didn't need to do with traditional deoderant/antiperspirant but totally worth it to not have all those unnecessary chemicals on my skin. The Chai smelled nice also but I prefer the original which actually worked the best for me.”

“No Pong does exactly what it says it will do. It ensures I smell nice. My body reacts quite poorly to most aromas but this is gentle and citric and clean. I do find touching my armpits to be a new sensation. I don’t hate it but it’s not my fave. I also would love if this were an anti-perspirant in addition to its great de-ordorizing abilities.”

We totally get that touching your armpits can be a new experience, and it's definitely something that takes a little getting used to when switching to a cream deodorant. As for antiperspirant properties, No Pong is designed to neutralise odour naturally and allow your body to sweat as it's meant to, without blocking your pores. “It works! I'm amazed. The only reason for 4 not 5 stars is that Im afraid I may have a reaction to it- or it may stop working....both have happened before many times. I'm fearful of getting too excited!”
