“I was extremely disappointed and very surprised to see that the shirt was made in China. I think that you should mention that on your website. People in the U.S. right now are trying to buy products made in the U.S. The shirt is itchy because of the stitching. I was happy that my money was refunded quickly. Thank you!”

Hi Joanne! Thank you so much for taking the time to offer feedback. We are so sorry if there was any misunderstanding about where our shirts are made. We have our manufacturing facilities information on the dropdown menu of our website and try to be as transparent as possible. You can read more about our production partners here: https://onno.com/factories.html Unfortunately, until the farm act passed in 2018, it was actually illegal to grow hemp in the US. Over the last couple of years, a few plantations have started to pop up around the country but as far as we are aware, there are no mills in the US to process the fibers to make textiles. I hope that helps clarify why our hemp shirts aren't made in the US. I appreciate you emailing us about the issues you were having with your shirt and it was a pleasure to process a return for you and ensure you were taken care of. “The first 2 T shirts we bought were really good, soft and felt great on the skin. So we went ahead and ordered 3 more. That was a mistake because they they shrank! Quality is also not good. Not going to buy again. For their price, one would expect better quality. MJ”

“The shirt itself is a great fit and I love the fabric, however, after one wash (I washed it by itself on cold…) there are holes in the shirt! So bummed.”

“Received 2 shirts as gifts. 1 was defective. 50% failure rate. Defective shirt was replaced. 33% failure rate. Received another shirt as a gift. 25% failure rate. This indicates quality control is an issue. Shirts are NOT 100% bamboo viscose. This indicates a partial commitment to sustainability.”

“The shirt is soft and comfortable. However, it’s definitely not odor resistant. I recently went on a trip out of the country and I tested this shirt vs a merino wool shirt. I wanted this shirt to be better than merino wool because this is about half the cost. Unfortunately, it’s not close to merino wool. The shirt is nice, but if you’re using this for travel, I would suggest merino wool if your minimalist traveler”

We do our best to not make claims about our shirts being designed for that specifically but, with that said, Jack did spend about a month wearing the same un-washed shirt while riding his bike up the canyons here in Boulder during his lunch break with stench-less success .
