Unless you have been wearing glasses for the best part of your life, forget it, sure you will come across people who say it's the best thing they have done, but without going into my story, I'll keep it short and say it isn't for everyone, two years on, my vision is almost back to wear it was, I only used glasses for reading and such, and I'm now back there, one thing OE will say is that you will be able to read your txt , that's only because there is so much back light on your phone, turn it down and you will understand what I'm saying, my case is in the hand's of the solicitors, .

I'll admit that this review is tainted by the fact I needed my purchase asap. If you need delivery fast don't order from here. Special delivery doesn't mean fast dispatch. I ordered on a Wednesday and the delivery was made a week later on a Thursday. I couldn't find any contact info on the order confirmation email so couldn't chase it up. The plus side is the price I had to order from somewhere else which gave me a next day option, something Optical express should consider for their contact lenses

Your website wouldn't accept my email address and / or Password, not sure which so had to sign in as a guest. This carry on doesn't help matters, I was all for giving up and going somewhere else.

Had lens replacement in April of this year the surgery went fine but I was left with very poor distance vision. I was told I had to wait 3 months before I could have laser enhancement done. As I do a lot of driving in my work it was extremely important for me to have this done ASAP. I finally got an enhancement appointment where I was told I would have to wear contact lenses for one week prior to laser to see what my vision would be after laser. I was told my contact lenses would be 2 to 3 days longest in coming and that I could have my lenses in and taken out prior to my holiday on 27th August. I have heard nothing back from the lakeside branch despite constantly ringing and going through to call centre being told someone will call you back today. I am beginning to regret the over 6000.00 it cost me to be left with very poor vision and no idea when I will finally get the laser correction

They glossed over the negatives of lens replacement. I now need YAG capsulotomy and hoped for at least a reduction in the charge as a past patient but no! £50 for a consultancy and £495 per eye for the relatively simple treatment.

Bit of a con: high pressure sales always upselling to the next most expensive option, underemphasising pain of the op and its immediate aftermath and, if you're middle aged and short-sighted, the hassle of having then to need reading glasses for the rest of your life; promising you free eye tests for life afterwards and then reneging on that promise and charging £50 for such tests.

verry well looked after, thought my sight would have been a bit better close up, I knew it woulden't be perfict but am a bit disipointed how bad my close vision is. all staff were verry good and I was made fully aware that this may be the outcome so no complaint just a bit disipointed that my eyesite is not better than it is. on the plus side I can see 10 times better than before and have had a pain free and verry profetional experance the only fault is in my expectation not the procedure. Thank you.

Since having the surgery, riving at night has become a major challenge for me. my eyes pain alot, are very dry despite using the drops and there seems to be a constant glaze obstructing my vision. im also experiencing sticky eyes, where the lid of the eyes stucks to my eyes. Hopfully these issues will settle down allowing me to enjoy being glasses free.

Big Promises but expectations not meet! I will require more eye surgery. Why don't you highlight this on your fancy brochures. So people realise that this happens.

The overall experiance has been good. My right eye has never had perfect vision since the operation but all other aspects of the surgery, aftercare etc.. has been great and hopefully the right eye will be sorted soon.
