Prices are the best I have found just a shame that they always seem to take about 2 weeks to arrive especially considering they state special delivery. How ever the price is good and delivery is free. Hoping they arrive this time as last time they hadn't sent them and had to email and wait for a response before they finally sent them out

Good service when buying something but when I tried to cancel a contact lens order I was given a number nobody ever answered. When I asked for a complaints number I was told it was the same number!😂

Although this is the second time I have been through this process, I am positive that the ultimate outcome will change my life in a beneficial way. Optical Express have been very helpful and I am sure single handidly I have used more drops then most of the people that come in put together.

I hadn't met anyone who had had RLE so it was a bit daunting going in to Edinburgh for the treatments. The staff there were very attentive; when waiting for the treatment I spoke to a fellow patient-he put me at ease. All very quick and painfree. I am told healing time/vision adjustment varies from one person to another. My vision is nearly as it was with specs but I have problems with intermediate distances. I am told I need time to adjust but it should come good. So far I have no regrets.

Entire process has been a breeze, the staff make it stress free and the clinic enviroment is what you would expect at a private treatment centre. My eyes have been alittle dry however if vision keeps improving and dryness is resolved I will be delighted with the results. I feel the team are managing this issue and have taken the appropriate steps to resolve this issue.

I had my eye laser surgey at Optical Express Merry Hill Centre and I am happy with the procedure and the support care given after. I was given prompt attention and I was served by the OE staff upon arrival at the branch. The optometrist is very helpful in reassuring me of the post procedure side effects of eye dryness and gave me adequate support.

I had a reasonbly good experience. I had a recommendation from a friend and that gave me the most assurance to go ahead. I found the staff very proffessional and focussed. Once the procedure was done the aftercare is good and taken seriously. I am pleased I had it done and life is much more straight forward without glasses in the way.

I dont believe I was told in detail that I would need reading glasses immediately after surgery. I understood that as I got older my reading prescription would deteriorate but as I had perfect reading I was expecting this to happen in the future not immediately. Following surgery my reading prescription was terrible - I couldn't see in the mirror, read, cook or do my job. I am a personal assistant and need to read for 7 hours a day. This wasn't explained to me. I think because of my job someone should have explained that I would be wearing glasses more than before surgery. I feel I have swapped one problem for another but at an huge expense. I am pleased with how I can see distance wise but really thought I would have both reading and distance. I know people who had worse vision than I and can see perfectly now. I thought I would be the same.

In the first few days after surgery I did find that I experienced quite a lot of pain particularly at night and had to resort to using the numbing eye drops quite regularly to get me through. Since day 4 my left eye has been perfect and have not had any pain or trouble with vision. My right eye however, has not been so fortunate. I am yet to have any time where the right can see anywhere near as clearly as the left and at timees really struggle to see much at all. This is gradually improving but taking a lot longer than expected and I am surprised that 2 eyes can react so differently. I am just hoping that the right becomes as good as the left which I am extremely satisfied with.

Despite what I say below, I would do this all over again, because having near perfect distance vision after wearing glasses and battling with lenses for years is worth it. However: 1. I wish just one of the people who recommended this to me had mentioned how unpleasant the actual sugery is. It's only 5 minutes of discomfort - not painful really, but stomach churning! 2. I am surprised by the extent to which my reading vision has deteriorated as a result of the surgery. 3. The glare/starbursts around lights at night are really noticeable and, after 3 months, not showing signs of getting better. I hadn't expected that. Moreover, I opted for the considerably more expensive wavefront procedure on the basis that it promoted improved night vision! Not the case for me at all - quite the opposite. 4. One of my eyes is better than the other, meaning that there is still room for improvement. A little disappointing, but not beyond what I might have expected.

Much more painful on first day than i expected. Wish I had brought painkillers to the appointment as i was not able to take them until i got home (40 mins) and could not sleep due to pain. This got better over the week. Have been wearing glasses since i was 3 so the weight off my face is great. But do have trouble with dryness now and have to get more sleep than i did before operation as my eyes are always tired. Have blurry spots if eyes are not rested, still hard looking at words on screens. Overall happy to have vision without glasses (was -6.5 before) but hoping dryness and these side effects will go.

I am wearing glasses for more than 20 years. It is quite amazing when you feel that you don't have to wear glasses any more. The whole journey is like a magic, definitely encourage other to go for it.
