I mean I probably don't even need to contribute after seeing the absolutely shocking reviews you've already got. But I'm not even a customer and you've tried treating me like a c*** Have never and will never use you. Literally sounds like a scam/cowboy company. "Tom from Glasgow" deserves the sack, rude little rat. I'll be sending round the call recording to all known customers of yours. Have a great day, cheers for ruining mine :)

Dangerous company.It has instructed ACS,a debt recovery company to get me to pay over £1800plus for electricity used AFTER I left them on June 22,2020,Non payment equals disconnection,they say.I have paid my new cheaper Supplier about £850 for electricity used to date.It has been worse.To date I have been sent 10 plus bills ranging from £450 to £2800 AFTER leaving OPUS.The Ombudsman has been most helpful.I am asking for £600 compensation for the distress it has caused my wife.I-will us it to plant trees on our small farm.Avoid this Company,it will seriously damage your mental health and sanity.

Avoid !!!!!!!! Opus energy is the baddest energy supplies I have ever seen they staffs are so rude are not professional . After so many time calling and waiting for so many hours they keep disconnected the phone on purpose. Never ever give them your bank details or your phone number they will calling you and bother you they never listen to you or resolve your matter.

Opus don't even worth one star. Most appalling energy supplier on this planet. Save yourself plenty of money by stay away from them. Most disgusting company. The sooner that place shut down the better.a lots of small business already struggling to survive without these horrendous unfair charges.

Possibly the only energy company that doesn't want to give a payment plan for a hospitality business and threaten with disconnection. Got all legal letters this morning. No one to talk to after being on hold for over an hour. Make sure, you dont sign up with these guys as I got 5 other sites with Npower and EDF who are more than happy to work together to come out this difficult times.

I have been trying to get in touch for last few days but unable get through. I have no idea how this company will keep their customers. I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE

They should not have a licence, stay away from them I paid thousands £ to them They was charging me triple than other companies, i couldn't cancel the contract, they were not letting me They should be banned everywhere

Do not use this company and do not phone them premium rate number only been with them 8 weeks insist my bill is £650 only had 6 strip lights switched on 25 hours per week

We were informed today that they won't be renewing our fixed term business tariff, due to the fact that we don't use enough energy!!! We could of course go onto the monthly variable tariff at a huge increase in price..... In these days of environmental awareness and global warming, we have as a small business been keen to be green... Obviously Opus do not agree with this mantra, as we need to be burning fuel 24/7, and at a rate of knots, to be allowed to patronise their service.... Unbelievable. Almost as unbelievable as the trite, corporate email they sent to explain why my business is no longer welcome.... And yes, we've always paid our bills via direct debit before it's assumed we were debtors!!!!

The worst company I have ever dealt with. They overcharged me for 2 years and refused to resolve the matter. When they finally replaced the meter my usage went from 18kWh/day to 2kWh. Disgraceful. AVOID

We had been with opus energy for many yrs. for our small business supplier. In 2019 we noticed our bills creeping up. when I spoke to Opus they informed me we were out of contract. I asked what we were paying and then what deal could be offered to renew our contract with them. I informed the employee I would check online first, offers from other suppliers. I found a broker who searched and found a brilliant tariff that just what we wanted with....Guess who? OPUS. I went into a verbal contract then and there to go ahead with Opus. This was going smoothly so I thought. I then receive a call from the broker. There was a problem and they couldn't complete our new contract. I phoned Opus to check what was wrong. We discovered a problem with an incorrect site address. Why after all these yrs was it not detected before?? I was told I had to contact Royal Mail and sort the problem myself. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told they don't take calls. I called Opus back and asked to speak to a supervisor and was put through straight away. The supervisor stated it was not my error but for OPUS to rectify. I was assured the error would be sorted promptly, so we could complete our new contract. Shortly after my husband received a call from Opus misleading him into a tariff we had not discussed and for a 4yr contract. I contacted Opus to confront them of their underhanded sneaky business conduct. Only to be told ' sorry your husband agreed to it' We are now stuck in a contract for 4yrs. on a very bad tariff. OPUS have cost us money. There're not to be trusted! The site address has now been rectified . But it took OPUS 6 months. Its just not good enough. We were loyal customers for yrs with OPUS. But I would not recommend them to anyone in the future.

Awful company stay away from them. They lure you in with the low kwh rates and suddenly you’re paying triple the price for your gas. After running a business for 10 years we’ve never paid anywhere near what they are now charging us and refusing to let us leave! Complete con company.

Opus Energy is the biggest scam! They run business like gangster or criminal organisation. They create fake story and harassed us over 2 years. They constantly send us the bills purely based off estimates when they know that no electricity has been consumed? We have told them: 1/ We never sign contact with them. They use very trick to set us to their trap but they are totally fails. 2/ The meter with serial number K95G15103 is not energised and the meter has always read 044041 since the premises was purchased 3/ On 8th January 2018 they sent a letter to confirm that a meter operator was sent to access the premises. In the document it asserts “Our Meter Operator attended our premise on 11th September 2017 and confirmed that it (Meter) was just currently not connected to any appliances and was therefore not consuming.” But the bills with fake reading still send to us. 4/ We have told them several times before July 2017 via telephone to remove their meter and any of their supposed equipment in our building. Yet they have done absolutely nothing. The bill still send to us. 5/ The law said that energy supply electricity must send meter operator to read the meter after 2 years and correct the bills. They did nothing even after we write letters and phone them about sending meter operator to our building. Do any people have any ideas to make them obey the law? We need help!
