About Outback Equipment:

Outback Equipment was born from a couple of mates with a big idea and an even bigger love for the outdoors. What started in the back of a garage quickly moved to a warehouse corner and now, over 10 years later, we’re running our own full-scale warehouse and showroom storefront in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane.

We kicked off with a fascination for light bars, but it didn’t take long to realise there was a lot more gear to get excited about. Outback Equipment has since grown into one of the largest online ranges of 4x4, camping, marine, and caravanning accessories in Australia. Driven by our customers’ passion for exploring the great outdoors, we’ve expanded our space, our range, and our mission.

Whether you're planning a weekend beach trip or the big lap around Oz, getting prepped can feel like a mission. We're here to make it simple. From expert guides and part finders to trusted advice and helpful customer service, we’re your starting point for any off-grid adventure.

We only stock gear we’d use ourselves. From brands like Aussie Traveller, MSA, CampBoss, BLA, Hardkorr, Superior Engineering, Tuff Terrain and Outback Explorer. With over 250 brands on our shelves and growing, we’re proud to support fellow adventurers at every stage of their journey.

“I am more then happy to write a review for the camdec EVOLUTION hatch 660x660. Great price saved a nice little amount of money with this purchase. Removing the old hatch and installing the new hatch was quick and easy. I even surprised myself.the new hatch allows a nice amount of light into the van.so on that note I will not complain about delivery time as the purchase was every thing I wanted and so very easy to install.So thank you outback for a great prodyct and service...Dot”

“I added an extra water tank on my caravan and needed a gauge to check level. The original tank had a single RV Electronics gauge so I was happy to find the sender for that tank used the same connector as the new dual gauge so I can now check levels in both tanks. Delivery was also completed in good time, Outback Equipment are great to deal with.”

“Bought a food grade water tank and all the bits to connect up -all in one place. Got a bit of advice on hoses from the team. Added filters and a tap . All worked out well no more buying drinking water it will pay for itself in the next trip to Mort island .”

“I bought the saucepan set for our caravan, the saucepans all pack inside each for space saver, 2 handles which are amazing, the plastic lids are great as well to put a saucepan into the fridge, they fit perfectly into a zipped up bag, I just love them”

“We recently purchased our first ever Caravan in late 2025. Since then we have made Outback Equipment our "Go To" for the purchase of all the accessories we have required. We found the online page easy to navigate and everything we have needed was available. Service has been exceptional as has speed of delivery and communication. We also dropped into the Brisbane store when in Qld on Xmas holidays and found the staff very helpful and friendly.”
