About Outback Equipment:

Outback Equipment was born from a couple of mates with a big idea and an even bigger love for the outdoors. What started in the back of a garage quickly moved to a warehouse corner and now, over 10 years later, we’re running our own full-scale warehouse and showroom storefront in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane.

We kicked off with a fascination for light bars, but it didn’t take long to realise there was a lot more gear to get excited about. Outback Equipment has since grown into one of the largest online ranges of 4x4, camping, marine, and caravanning accessories in Australia. Driven by our customers’ passion for exploring the great outdoors, we’ve expanded our space, our range, and our mission.

Tyre deflators not accurate 20 psi was 12 and blew off the valve a few times. Don’t bother.

I made a purchases and it was for delivery. I finished the payment and then realised I forgot something. So I made a second purchase within a minute or two of my first purchase. I made a note in the delivery section that this item was to be included in the first purchase delivery, I provided the invoice number for the first purchase. The seller did not send the last item and has told me they will not be sending it. this is why its a 2 star review.

Hi Fixa, Looking at your order and communication with our customer service team we can see that your original order was already dispatched before you had reached out regarding your second order and after speakinng with you to organise the shipment of this you had refused to pay for the second order - due to this fact the order was cancelled. Most Goods are not kept in stock, they say ships in 7 days but my order did not leave in 7 days, was then told 7 working days, still did not leave after 7 working days. I assume they were putting together a larger order from Lowrance so I had to wait. Some of the staff I delt with were arrogant, not apoloogetic. My goods were shipped over 14 dys after my order and I got offered a $100 voucher but that is no use to me as I will not shop there again

Items online were noted as in stock with quick postage. So an order was places. After weeks of no communication with company. Had to chase up delay, only to be told items ordered are not available and had to be shipped in. More delays in getting parts in. Not impressed. Won't be ordering from this company again.

Ordered an item with express postage, was noted as in stock. Followed up a week later & was told it wasn’t in stock and would be shipped shortly (12 days after order). 15 days after order followed up and was told it wasn’t delayed again, with no firm ETA. Only getting 3 stars as Mitch in the warehouse honest and processed a refund for me quickly (at day 19), which I appreciated.

Great service from Outback Equipment but service ruined by the choice of aramex as delivery agents. Absolutely woeful service from aramex letting an otherwise good retailer down.

Some 5 weeks ago i lodged a claim for a what appers to be a faulty roof air conditioner, still no results and here we are 5 weeks later tfe same old excuse waiting on the supplier to reply, carn't anybody pick up the phone ring the supplier?

I ordered 2.clear lights and 1 side light waited over 2 months and only the clear ones turned up. I'm the package it said your order might not have all the lights but no email or explanation Very poor service Hope you email me bradleycaldwell29@outlook.com Thank you Brad

When I order it, it was delivered within 3 working days. BUT the order was missing 90 present of the gear. Had to send it back and waited almost another 2 week to have the correct order sent back. The rpoblem was that the order was split into 2 and each parcel was delivered about a week apart. With no communication from Outback equipment.

Starlink pole adapter very brittle. I dropped it before I even used it and it smashed. Camping gear needs to be somewhat durable

Very poor service, made an order, no email confirmation no tracking details, heard nothing for two weeks, sent an email to find where my order was, no response. The magically the order turns up a week later. Will not buy from you again

I ordered, by phone porta pac for my motor home.The sales person was very pleasant and suggested a bulk order would be cheaper for me. The transaction was $170. All done. I immediately received an email that there was a 5 day delay! A week later same issue. 4 weeks passed and i was given the runaround. I eventually received it after 6 weeks! Outback equipment had my money gaining interest on the short term money market!!!! The salesgirl must have been aware that the item was not in stock and i should have been notified of this issue!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!! Very very disappointing.

When I ordered it there was no indication you were out of stock. The silence from your end was deafening. I had to call to find out when it was coming, only to be given the "out of stock" greeting. Meanwhile, my inbox was being bombarded with buy!, buy!,buy! emails. When the goods finally arrived, I unsubscribed. Apparently, that didn't really mean "unsubscribe" as I now have this unsolicited mail asking for a review. My two star rating is as above.

sent wrong D035 security hitch. Had to go and buy another hitch prior to leaving on trip. sent hitch back for refund. Had to go out to shopd and find another type of security hitch. No refund has yet been processed

When first ordered assumed they were in stock as per website. Then told after a few days they weren’t. Then told a week later they were sent, only to be told another week later they were not. It took over 4 weeks to finally get items. Though through all this time the online store showed them as available. Very unhappy with service.
