About Outback Equipment:

Outback Equipment was born from a couple of mates with a big idea and an even bigger love for the outdoors. What started in the back of a garage quickly moved to a warehouse corner and now, over 10 years later, we’re running our own full-scale warehouse and showroom storefront in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane.

We kicked off with a fascination for light bars, but it didn’t take long to realise there was a lot more gear to get excited about. Outback Equipment has since grown into one of the largest online ranges of 4x4, camping, marine, and caravanning accessories in Australia. Driven by our customers’ passion for exploring the great outdoors, we’ve expanded our space, our range, and our mission.

Ordered parts. Three weeks later you admitted it would take at least two to three more weeks. No advice when placing order that parts not in stock or even available. After obtaining refund I walked into local RTM and purchased required parts off shelf.

The worst company to deal with,wouldnt answer emails ,slowest shipping ever ,when they finaly answered an email they told me my parts had been posted a day eairler but they hadn't,when they were finaly posted the tracking said they had received my parts 2 days after outback equpment had said they had posted them .I will never buy from this comany ever again

This store sells things online that they don’t have in stock - communication is difficult as was getting a refund for an item that kept getting ‘delayed’. Wish I’d read other peoples reviews before purchasing from their online store.

You're pretty brave emailing me requesting a review. Not only do you sell stuff that you don't stock, but then it takes no input from your company to advise of this. You even accept priority express shipping fees, knowing that the items are only going to be express posted once you finally get the item in stock in a month or so. Just take the money, sit back and wait for the customer to ask where the goods are that they paid for weeks prior. Then, when we say bugger it, you don't stock it, give my money back, we then have to argue for weeks again to attempt to get the money back. Only when the purchase is disputed with the bank do you finally refund the money. Would I buy from you again? HELL NO. Would I recommend using Outback Equipment to a friend or colleague? ABSOLUTELY HELL NO...

Ordered radiator protection screen for LC200. Item was never sent. After repeatedly calling them them and then finally requesting refund then suddenly decided to send item. Item then arrived missing 4 plastic washers so additional hardware was required to install and final fitment was not good. Poor service the entire time. Will not purchase from Outback again.

Didn't get what I ordered & I'm in the process of returning & hopefully getting what I originally payed for, but I'm not sure if that will ever happen.

Promise the world & could not deliver the fuel tank guard in the time frame they promise & could not give me any time frame when it could be deliver.

Didn’t tell me product was out of stock for three weeks. Then took another week to arrive. Very disappointed and won’t shop with them again. Happy with product, just no service

Had to cancel my order, waited 3 weeks and decided to contact outback equipment to find out my order was still another month or 2 away with no communication about this, will never buy from outback equipment.

Absolutely appalling service. Do not buy from these people. Waited over a month to still not get my order then had to wait and wait to get a refund. Should not be in business.

Extremely poor customer service. Turn around time between ordering and shipping is ridiculous. Communication when submitting a warranty claim is non existent and to not be able to call an Australian company to follow up on anything is outrages. Will never use or recommend this comao g again

Hopeless. Order took weeks to dispatch despite all items listed as in stock. Customer support slow to respond, eventually refunded part of the order but didn't reimburse for the shipping component. Other items arrived long after the trip they were bought for.

My order took over a month to come. When it did arrive the product is not what was advertised. I am still waiting on a response from the customer team via email about this issue and have no way of calling anyone as the phones are turned off.

Cant trust them to deliver a $5 item , so would not use them for anything that more money , nope dont recomend , cant see me using them again , dont ask my opion unless you want my honest answer

I ordered product for a trip in January. After many inquries it became obivious that Outback Equipment advertise and sell product they do'nt even have in store or warehouse. I recieved it in March after the ship had landed.

I ordered a superior engineering steering damper for a patrol as it was cheaper than going through superior and I found out why. The website says 4-6 days for delivery but after a week I phoned up and the lady told me it was another 2-3 weeks away because superior were out of stock and it was being manufactured. I phoned superior who told me they had more than 70 on the shelf and ready to go. Outback refunded my order and I went with Superior (which is what I should have done first time) who had the item to me in a couple of days. I wouldn't use outback equipment again.
