About Outback Equipment:

Outback Equipment was born from a couple of mates with a big idea and an even bigger love for the outdoors. What started in the back of a garage quickly moved to a warehouse corner and now, over 10 years later, we’re running our own full-scale warehouse and showroom storefront in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane.

We kicked off with a fascination for light bars, but it didn’t take long to realise there was a lot more gear to get excited about. Outback Equipment has since grown into one of the largest online ranges of 4x4, camping, marine, and caravanning accessories in Australia. Driven by our customers’ passion for exploring the great outdoors, we’ve expanded our space, our range, and our mission.

My door blind arrived without the fit kit "screws and brackets", this took way too many phone calls and e-mails to eventually get the missing parts sent to me, lots of people making callback promises and e-mail replys but thsi never happened.

Last thing I'll be ordering. Buck Wild Outdoors Heavy Duty BBQ Fire Pit & Grill was supplied without the skillet. Raised an equiry. No response.

If I could give 0 stars, I would.. My product arrived with missing parts. When I contacted them and asked for the replacement part to be sent express, they said they would. It took 3 more days before they even posted it, and they didn't ship it express. When I questioned this, they LIED and said it was sent same day, express. But I had tracking to show evidence it wasn't!! So then they offered me a store credit. When I asked for the same dollar amount to be refunded as compensation, they flat out refused, numerous times. Wasn't worth the fight, so I accepted the store credit (yay for making them more money... A holes)... But anyway the customer service was RUDE, LYING, and flat out atrocious!!! Never again. Ever. Ever. Ever.

Had a door blind sent that came without the fittings, screws and brackets, many phone calls and numerous e-mails later with lots of promises to get this fixed/ sent to me but after 8 working days since i first lodged this problem , i still have no answer on when i will get these parts, I have atracking label made for these but this has not moved in a full week now, I AM TOTALLY OVER THIS POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE BEEN GIVEN / NOT GIVEN.

Ordered a Redarc tow pro elite from there website, after 12 days and no email stating that the order had been shipped, I decided to call them. I was informed that they would not receive the goods from there supplier until the 30/06 then it would be dispatched, at no stage did there website state it was out off stock, as far as I’m concerned that is deceitful practice, I could have order from another supplier and probably received it in 7 days, now I’m probably have to wait close to a month to receive my order, when I order online I want my good ASAP. I will never order anything from Outback Equipment or will I recommend them to anyone . Luckily there numerous online stores the sell the same equipment and I never have to deal with them again.

Aussie Traveller caravan stone guard. We bought our stone guard in June 2024, 12 months in and all of the black mesh for the stone guard has perished and broken down from Sun exposure and the black frame is rusting. What makes it worse is the van is stored in the shade so the mesh has little exposure to the Sun. I would not recommend this product.

These pumps have a flaw in their design. The 90degree fitting pops off with the bouncing of the boat as it travels making the non return valve redundant. Of the four pumps I purchased two 90 degree fittings popped off flooding two hatches. One of the pumps caught fire in situation that no warranty has been offered from outback equipment . I have since replaced all these pumps with Johnson pumps. I would not recommend these pumps and strongly advise against using them. Outback equipment cannot be relied on for warranty support. If you purchase these pumps there’s a great chance they will flood your boat

Without a doubt the worst experience I have ever experienced with purchasing an online product. Keeping customers informed of delays right through to a customer service representative getting aggressive. Put the $250 back into training basic customer service. Good luck you will need it!

I placed and order for a caravan toilet refresher set. I placed the order on the 20th of April 2025 and received the incorrect product 4 weeks later. I had to post the wrong one back and still havn't got the new one and its the 11th of the June so almost 8 weeks at this point. Dont email them if you expect a quick response or response at all, best bet is to call up if you can. Will be looking elsewhere next time i need something like this.

Not a good store to deal with. The item that i bought is not well packed inside the box and there are scratches of because item will move inside the box during transport. They didnt even put bubble wrap. Im disappointed as well because the other item that i bought is cannot be returned or refund and the reason that i have to return this item is they didn’t put that on description that it is included in the first item above. Which is not my fault. And even if you read their policy.Although its not that really an expensive item, but they didn’t even try offer.

I can only give you a poor review, you supplied me with the incorrect part after waiting approximately two weeks in remote out back QLD. I returned the incorrect part at my inconvenience and expense and have had no feedback regarding a refund since.

Ordered online… said it was in stock… delivery in about 10 days Waited 12 days and no delivery…. Rang and said they were out of stock… no notification… so I canceled order and went elsewhere Took 10 days to get a refund Won’t deal with them again

I recently purchased 4 items on 2 seperate purchases. I paid for these items and then it was a month between payment and recieving my items. Turns out they didn't actually have anything in stock that I had ordered. The support was not as quick as I would have hoped for.

We are still waiting on a delivery supposed to be shipped on the 28/4 but not received and offered a refund or wait until stock arrived so still waiting order N1173343 incase some one reads this

Horrible, after waiting a week I was told they were waiting for the product, I then asked for a refund as I needed the product for an upcoming trip. So instead it got sent anyway and arrived 2 weeks later. Didn’t make it for my trip, now I need to pay to send it back. Thanks for the horrible service, poor communication and the very late delivery
