About Outback Equipment:

Outback Equipment was born from a couple of mates with a big idea and an even bigger love for the outdoors. What started in the back of a garage quickly moved to a warehouse corner and now, over 10 years later, we’re running our own full-scale warehouse and showroom storefront in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane.

We kicked off with a fascination for light bars, but it didn’t take long to realise there was a lot more gear to get excited about. Outback Equipment has since grown into one of the largest online ranges of 4x4, camping, marine, and caravanning accessories in Australia. Driven by our customers’ passion for exploring the great outdoors, we’ve expanded our space, our range, and our mission.

Very pour service. The Item was not in stock at the time I placed the order and only once I contacted Outback Equipment they informed me they were waiting for stock to arriveon the 19th and then the date provided passed with no notification. Only days after I was provided a tracking number. Essentially the whole process took neally a month. Very dispointed customer.

I haven’t received the item yet. The courier you use is incapable of making the delivery. I will have to phone them and give detailed instructions. All other companies have no problem, it’s just Aramex. Richard.

WARNING YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR ORDER SENT IN ANY REASONABLE TIMEFRAME!!! Can't believe these likely scammers have the nerve to ask for a review after stuffing me around for over 2 weeks, giving me a bunch of pathetic excuses that they're too busy to send my order of 3 items that I could of got from Supercheap or a bunch of other shops and then refunded me after I said I'm going to QLD fair trading and the ACCC. Outback equipment are beyond pathetic and likely scamming people going off the 100s of other google reviews of the exact same issues.

This makes no allowance for a hand brake lever. May suit a small trailer, but wont fit a caravan

Worst ever,took my money including express post and received my item 6 weeks later as they never had it in stock,h They had to order from another company, If it's not available as said don't fucken sell it to people without there knowledge. Outback will never see my business again

Ordered the product on 3 January still have not received it. I have sent three emails. No replies to any of them will not be using this company again.

I would recommend double-checking your spam and promotional folders in case our responses have gone there. I know it's Christmas and items do take some time for delivery but after 4 weeks I think a camel train would be quicker for one item to be delivered to Perth

I have previously received emails & an invoice from you for something I did not order because I have a name & email address similar to your actual customer. I live in Europe. I have emailed you about this previously but never received any reply. Please do me the courtesy of at least acknowledging me and do something about the emails you keep sending me please.

Purchased item that didn't fit as described, customer service very un helpful, will only offer store credit and won't refund. Would not recommend buying from this company at all. Very unprofessional service.

Do not buy anything from this company. It’s been over a month and they still can’t even tell me when my fishing reel will be delivered. 3 different people have contacted me and not one person has an answer for “where is my reel”. This is a scam business. Do not buy from them.

AS discussed in a previous review (Why two reviews)...another nail. I will not deal with your comapny again. To suggest that I just send back a faulty product and be without it until you find out wether it is faulty or not and mean while you have had my money for weeks and therefore not have access to the net is ludicrous. I will not buy from your company again and assked whether I would recommend your company or not you know the answer. Totally ridiculous Mike Batman

Because the tv took so long to arrive and it missed the trip I can’t review the item other than it works. Don’t expect a timely delivery from this supplier as I believe they just order items from other warehouses and don’t actually stock anything. My item took over two weeks to arrive.

I received my order a week ago it was the wrong order so I reached out to outback equipment ,was told to take photos which I did and haven’t heard as to whether they are going to send me the correct order or refund my money .In my eyes that is disgusting customer service wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone .

Ordered 3 items nearly 1 month ago and stuff haven’t received my goods, sent 2 emails in regards too my order with no response. Won’t order from here again very disappointed as I have heard good things from YouTube sponsors

Your order was sent within the timeframe originally advised at checkout, and we can confirm that both of your emails were responded to. It’s possible our replies may have ended up in your spam or junk folder, and we would recommend checking there in case these responses slipped through. We do recommend online that orders being sent to WA go through express shipping to assist with speeding up this process, as we are a Brisbane-based company; however can see that your parcel has been marked as delivered last week. said 1-6 days delivery, it took 11 and no one bothered to call and let me know about any delay, I had to call them to find out what was happening with my package, when it did finally arrive it was the wrong part then they would not dispatch the correct part until the wrong was back in their warehouse. Worst experience I have had with an online order. Never again Outback Equipment. This debacle will be talked about around many camps down the track.

Ordered an item and paid extra for express shipping. I called up to check eta as it was a critical item that we needed before we left for our holiday (hence why we paid extra for express) and was advised that even though you pay extra for express shipping doesn’t mean they will process the order quicker. I then said can I cancel the postage and drive out and collect myself and was told it was out of stock and they are waiting for it to arrive. No where online did it say it was out of stock - if I knew that I would have gone elsewhere. I was then told I should never reply on the stock listed online and should always call first - no where on the item I ordered did I see that this is recommended, otherwise I would have called and gone elsewhere when I found out it was out of stock. How is your website that bad with stock availability that it relies on customers having to then call you to check - and if it is that bad, why do you not have it stated very clearly near the ‘add to cart’ button or somewhere else very clearly marked. So after all this I asked, since my order hasn’t been processed and the item still isn’t in stock, can I please have a refund so I can buy the item elsewhere (we r running out of time now). I was told no, I can only have store credit or exchange as it hasn’t been over 5 days for processing yet. So now I don’t have the funds to buy the product elsewhere and just have to wait and see if it actually arrives - oh and am also out of pocket for the extra I paid for express shipping for it to arrive before we leave.
