About Outback Equipment:

Outback Equipment was born from a couple of mates with a big idea and an even bigger love for the outdoors. What started in the back of a garage quickly moved to a warehouse corner and now, over 10 years later, we’re running our own full-scale warehouse and showroom storefront in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane.

We kicked off with a fascination for light bars, but it didn’t take long to realise there was a lot more gear to get excited about. Outback Equipment has since grown into one of the largest online ranges of 4x4, camping, marine, and caravanning accessories in Australia. Driven by our customers’ passion for exploring the great outdoors, we’ve expanded our space, our range, and our mission.

I ordered and paid for a small part for my caravan on a Tuesday and it wasn't picked and packed until Saturday. It took another week for me to receive it. Also i was overcharged on postage. I will not use you again or recommend you to anyone. This might be only one complaint to you but i am on a lot of f/b sites.

Shockingly bad experience! Their 'no refund for change of mind; store credit only', is a violation of the trust that Consumers have grown to expect from ecommerce. The item wasn't even in stock for 2 weeks. Then another 10 days waiting for delivery! Stay away!

If I could give zero stars, I would. Issues: - Terrible website (doesn't render well on desktop or mobile, latency, poor user interface, misleading specs). No apologies for misleading specs, instead blaming it on the manufacturer. - Mansplaining customer service rep who told me my CUB camper trailer couldn't be as small as I said it was. - Understaffing, so it took them 6 days to process a return - and only when I escalated it. - Understaffing, so it took them 4 business days (6 total days) to dispatch an order. - Terrible courier Aramex, who, after saying it would be delivered on a specific day, now simply says it's delayed. Do NOT buy from this provider!!!

Start by taking the courtesy to spell my name properly. I've previously attempted to correct this. Why can't you get something as simple as that right?

If you want a runaround for a month over a warranty then tell me it’s got to go to a repair agency, get real! I answered all your question and follows up several times! Item lasted 2 days and failed on second trip! Should be a simple replacement not a fu#k around!! First and last time purchasing any products off your pathetic excuse for a business! Don’t worry I will tell all. It’s going to cost you more than my loss!

Bought a product online, waited nearly a month for the product only to be told it was out of stock and it wasn’t going to get in for another two weeks at least. I have asked to be credited which was agreed to however still waiting nearly a week later. After agreeing to the credit I drove to my closest BCF and purchased the exact same product for cheaper. Still out of pocket $600 hopefully get it back soon as they have had it for nearly 5 weeks now

I was very dissapointed with the delivery. Box came broken and open. No handle as described to lift off plates from burner on the Dometic Cadac 2 burner rostove. Left info no response. Was was going to buy other products however will look elsewhere in future.

Will never buy from this company again, waited two weeks just to receive the wrong item after I paid express post, then they didn't issue a refund. Rubbish company.

Never ended up getting the battery, took over a week for any correspondence, 2 more weeks to be told i was getting money back.. all up was a month turn around on something that was out of stock!!!

You need to let customers know that you don’t stock equipment you’re just a middle man so that there is no shonkyness when we pay for shipping. Cause if I pay for express post thinking I’m going to receive in 2 days that’s a farce. Because truth is it may take several weeks to come from your supplier. And that my friends is shonkier than a shithouse rat! I would never recommend your business to anyone as you take too long to supply equipment

I purchase so boar trailer tail lights recently which did not have a number plate light. I contact your team and they have told me that light is not available. No other options were given. I would like to return the light and get a refund. I am away a present and will be back home at the end of December. Hope you will assist. Phil

still waiting for my order no N1073795 which was ordered on 30/10/2024, and each time I ring in regards to this I just get fobb off, still have no idea when I will get my order and if I ring you I'll get the same responce, hold your breath you'll get some day not sure when, so I will not be dealing with you again

The products are as described. However, getting your order is another story. Placed my order and waited a week to see if there were any delivery updates. Ended up phoning them after a week and was told, "O, I can see your items are all in stock, I'll send this through to get picked and shipped". This was a week after the order was placed! If I didn't follow up, I'd love to know if this order would ever have been processed. It then took just over a week to be packed, processed, and delivered... from Brisbane to Brisbane.... so almost 2 and a half weeks from time of order to delivery for a set of radios and tyre deflators...

The product that I paid for on 1/10/24 was clearly advertised as free shipping yet I was billed for shipping. I have previously brought this to your attention, I have not heard back from your company, hoping to hear back soon.
