“I love the style of the boots I ordered from Pajar, however upon trying the boots on for the first time, the rubber loop tab at the back of the boot snapped. I was ready to return them for exchange but there were no more in my size in stock. Plus I felt it unfair having to pay return shipping for a defective item. I decided to cut off the loop tabs and keep the boots but will think twice before ordering from Pajar again.”
“I recently bought a pair of Valerie S women boots. I like the look and the built in ice grips. They are not as warm as advertised though. And that was the main reason for me to go with pajar in a first place. But after 15min walk with a dog at -10C, I feel the cold coming from the sole of the boot. Tried with the wool socks as well...”

“D'abord, une livraison qui semble-t-il ayant été faite sans personne n'ayant sonné à la porte. Au téléphone, un employé de Pajar m’a dit que j'aurais dû prendre l'assurance de livraison en cas de vol, alors que le commerçant est responsable de remettre l'objet acheté au consommateur. J’ai essayé les bottes hier avec les crampons et je glissais sur la glace. Je ne suis donc pas satisfaite de mes bottes ni du service Pajar.”
“I ordered the wrong colour on line. To ensure I got the right colour in size i needed as it’s an Xmas gift I went ahead and ordered the right colour. I tried to return the first pair online - what an ordeal !!!! There site does not work properly and will not generate a return label ( btw there’s a cost to return ) . I had to call customer service to get a label. Bottom line buy your Pijars at another retailer like browns that make returns easy and free.”
“Bought a pair of boots last year. So I wore them less than two seasons and my sock is wet all the time. This is the second pair and I had the same issue before. At first I thought it was accidental but no, this is an ongoing issue. So I will buy another brand for next year and forget Pajar. Don't buy this brand.”
“Sorry to tell you that after just one day of use the shoelace of one of the boots tore, and the back of the boot with which to hold the boot made a tearing sound, probably got unsewn. Really unacceptable for such a sum of money and brand name reputation. I truly think that we should be compensated in some one, at least new shoelaces.”
“Disappointed with boots I purchased. I have Pajar down filled parka since a few years and like it so when I saw these winter Chelsea slip on boots for 115$ CAD at Winners decided to try them. Very glad I didn't pay the full 240$ that they are worth on Pajar website or other shoe stores. Was happy to support local Montreal based company too. But sadly very disappointed I think they are very overpriced. First they are a bit narrow they should have a wide option for people with wide feet. But that's ok not all boots fit well with all people and they break in. The most disappointing is that although they are rated for -30° celsius they are Not warm, just wear them at -5° for work Christmas party at restaurant and got cold feet walking there. I already had winter hiking boots 200g Primaloft insulation that are worth a bit less, rated pretty much the same -32° and never get cold feet with them plus much more comfortable. I wanted something more urban looking than hiking boots for more formal dressed occasions. These are fine looking for that but really not that warm as advertised and leather seems very thin. I guess they can be ok for getting in and of a car to go places but not good for longer walking in winter outdoors.”
“Very disappointed. Was really looking forward to getting these. The sizing is very off. I'm always a size 9 and these are HUGE on me. The zipper sticks and your too cheap to put a return label in the box. Now I have to screw around with getting a return label printed. I also googled to make sure all the fur you use is fake. The answer was a little sketch. REALLY wanted the ice grippers for winter safety. Just want my money back.”
“I bought Pajar Brian Mens Heritage shoes. I never received any confirmation of order receipt online. Had to call them...no one picked up....then emailed them to finally confirm the order. Finally when I received my order, it was missing one insole. Again no response by phone. Only auto email response. Then finally got a response from them that they will notify one of the departments and will get back. I emailed again after one week. Their response......gave me 2 options....either return the shoes for exchange but no guarantee of getting the same size or get full refund but they won't send me the insole.”
