“We booked for the touring site at Sandy Bay, we were given a pitch number the day before. When we arrived our pitch was occupied by travellers, who had paid for a couple of nights, and then refused to move, most of the site was travellers doing the same thing there was 3 vans,we were told that was going to be moved later by the police. the whole camp was a nightmare, vans parked close together, no distancing, which we was promised in this pandemic. How the showers and toilets were going to cope, I didn’t stay to find out. There was a lad on a motor bike riding round just total chaos. We are in our 70s, and travelled 5 hours to get to the camp, and the same going back, plus £90 in petrol, to say we were shattered when we got home is an understatement. We asked for a refund, which they agreed, but reading other reviews I fear we will be lucky to get that. I would never go with Parkdean Resort again they are the worst company ever. Roll on September, Haven here we come.”
“We went last year and had the best time, rebooked for this year and then COVID 19 hit.
We understand that a lot of what is happening is out of Parkdeans control but remember this Parkdean.
You are being judged on what you do now and not on anything you have done before.
So far you have failed and just read your reviews.
Blocking off your phones and not accepting that no swimming pools, lack of entertainment and dining packages with no partial refund is acceptable to hard working families, they will punish you with lack of support to you when this is all over.

“Second day now I’ve tried to ring only to be told staff are training, with no one to man the phones. Still waiting for my refund after 3 weeks after the 28 days that you you said you aim to refund. I had booked a very large party of 53 vans all waiting for their refund, why now would you put your team, when people need them the most on staff training?? This is disgraceful”
“Afraid 0 star rating is not available Keep being lied to by Parkdean.Due to covid 19,the holiday parks had to close.They have still not issued a refund,keep phoning and emailing them.Lie after lie,keep making promises they can't keep,one excuse after another.The employees on the phone taking the calls are getting the brunt of everybody's anger,it is not their fault,even they themselves are fed up with it.They are being told to tell the customers lies.They have not even had the decency to contact me once we were due to go to Looe Bay on 30th March,2nd May now still no refund.Another unhappy customer of Parkdean after so many years of going on family holidays there we will never go to a Parkdean site again.”
“Why have you still not issued our refund. We will never ever book with you again. You went against government advice on when to fully close your park, thinking you could use a loophole, they closed the swimming pool, club house, play park, but you can still walk on the beach or sit in your caravan. When told you have to close you assume we would take voucher. After we declined that offer and asked for a REFUND you stopped contacting us, we have spent hours trying to contact you, our last phone call to you we were informed by your customer service that our money would be returned on 27 May. STILL NO REFUND. PARKDEAN YOU ARE A NATIONAL DISSGRACE.”
“They have closed all facilities. No refunds because they are still open, making all sort of excuses. If you change date have to pay any extras, yet if holiday costs less no refunds. Other holiday parks are closing or if you choose to rebook and the holiday costs less will refund the difference. Disgusting behaviour Parkdean. They state the health and safety our our customers is ALWAYS our absolute priority. Government has advised against all unnecessary travel and as far as possible to stay at home. Next weekend have a holiday booked, 2in group high risk, 1 asthmatic, I pregnant. Can’t avoid social contact as sharing with others.”

“Well i went to southview in skegness last may and had the parkstone caravan which was nothing like the pics. Everything was in brown dark wood flooring dark furniture and kitchen there was no light because it was so dark and radiators rusty. We complained about this all weekend and nobody was interested i even contacted head office. I was eventually told that some of the caravans ad had their day and was going to be taken off site however to my disapointment this caravan is still on the website. Also my nana and grandad came the sametime and paid more for a verander and outdoor furniture but unfortunately we was told there was not enough onsite we only went for 4 nites and spent first 2 days trying to get furniture that should have already been there. Absolute disgrace and customer service is appallingn stay away and go to the travelodge”
“Not only has my husbands wedding ring been stolen , The Guy that runs the cleaning company that park dean contract out , all the staff know is his name is Damian , no surname ?? And the man is that helpful that he will not even come back down to reception to speak to myself or my husband , we have not been allowed any details of the cleaning staff , and accommodation manager on check in desk , Glenda is not even aware of procedure in this situation ???? it beggars belief .”
“i'm afraid nothing is good about Highfield Grange , checked out at 10am and still waiting for the police , as one of the cleaners has seen fit to steal my husbands WEDDING RING !!!!!! A week from hell not only was the caravan absolutely filfthy and had to wait until nearly 5pm to get in after paying for early check in , now we have been victim of theft !!!!!”
“If i can give you one piece of advice id suggest you avoid this park and the company as a whole like the plague.Customer service is shocking.Sundrum castle holiday park is a dump.Its main focus is pushing the penny arcades and ripping people off in the bar.Rubbish laying everywhere,toilets were an absolute health hazard.Staff are rude and unhelpful.They offer no help to deal with other noisey customers on site(Idiots screaming and shouting all night next to us).Then when i confronted the company about all the issues afterwards i got offered a refund...which hasn't materialised.Anyone booking with this crew are setting themselves up for a dissapointment.Andy Paulin”
“Was sold an upgrade that did not exist was told it would be a Malpas caravan but apparently they do not do anymore no compensation was offered and this information was only brought to our attention when we tried to book next year's holiday what a pity they did not informed us but still charged us.?”
