“It was easy to use, much easier than I expected, but because I opted to give money towards several different projects, I wish there had been some way in which I could have listed what I'd bought in my message to the bride and groom. It did appear later in my email receipt, but this is the first time I've used Patchwork, and I didn't know that.”

“The website is very clear and easy to use. The payment feature didn't work so well, though that may be I'm using an old browser, but someone emailed from customer services to see if I had problems - which was helpful, so I tried again.”

“Easy to use and good to get/give wedding presents with a personal touch Could have been more obvious to get to basket (link was text only at top right of page and didn't summarise contents). It would be better to have a "checkout" button at the bottom too, and make the basket link at the tops more longer basket summary.”

“Well presented and inviting page. Fab idea. 4 stars because - i'm still unclear as to how much I've contributed to each item. If the amount shown on each item is only part of the total needed for it, I would prefer that to be more upfront. Also, as an analogue user I spent ages clicking on the 'got it' box on the intro page. I'm also hoping that the coloured dots on the reviews don't indicate anything because that would be utterly ghastly!! Minor tweaks though.”

Thanks so much for our review. In response to your helpful feedback, It is completely up to the creator (your friend) how upfront they would like to be about who is buying what and how much of each gift you have contributed towards. If you mean the coloured dots on the messages, no, they have no meaning - just pretty colours in place of a photo of you if you decided not to post one! I hope this is reassuring. Patchwork

“I think it's a great idea and the customer service was fantastic. The only thing I didn't like was there were no quantities on the wedding list I bought for, so I had no idea how many of something the couple wanted. This would be really useful.”

“Patchwork was very easy to use and customise, however there is one issue - as PayPal is used to remit money to the users, there is a limit on the amount that can be received. My sister's account was frozen when this was reached, for money laundering checks. Users should be made aware of this threshold!”

Thanks so much for leaving us a review. Although we do suggest to Patchwork creators that they check their Paypal limits in our FAQ's and help pages. We will make it even more prominent now by including it in our welcome email that they get when they publish their Patchwork. Thanks so much for your feedback it is so helpful.
