“The slippers were the wrong size. After trying a variety of inserts I gave up and asked for a smaller size. Even though I didn't have to original box, the said return them and sent me the next size down. Marvelous service”

“I recently ordered a pair of Dr Martens vintage 1461 shoes from Pediwear, ordering was no problem and they showed up very quickly- also Pediwear seem to have the best prices for Dr Martens vintage- I thought I'd snap them up before the price went up! As for the shoes themselves, I bought a pair of Dr Martens vintage a few years ago when they first came out, (back when the going rate was £120 for a pair of the 8-eye boots) and I wasn't too impressed. They looked fine out of the box, but they wore badly, and the vamp linings disintegrated and tore away from the welts within six months. Also the heel linings split and cracked in both boots. With the newer post-price increase vintage shoes, the leather certainly seems thicker and has more of a quality "feel" to it. The soles are darker and seem to be more dense, creating a shoe with a reassuring heft to it. I walk a couple of miles a day to catch the train to work and they seem to be wearing well too. They've definitely recreated the famous break-in period too and I'd advise plasters on your heels and regular coats of dubbin in the first few weeks. Overall, I'm very pleased indeed!”

“Recently purchased to pairs of Loake shoes from Pediwear ...... excellent advice prior to purchase and super fast delivery ...... shoes were discounted by 10% and came with complimentary shoe trees, polish and a shoe horn as well. I fully recommend Pediwear to any one after quality products from a quality store.”
