“I’ve been drinking Peet’s Italian Roast coffee for several years and have always loved it. The last two bags that I purchased, have no aroma at all, and the taste is bitter with sour notes. Worse than instant coffee of a few decades ago. I write Peet’s customer service just to let them know of the problem. Let’s just say that their response was very disappointing. I will miss the fantastic Rich, delicious taste of the Italian Roast coffee but regrettably, I will Switch to another brand. No more Peet’s for me.”

“Bad attitude by some girls there. One girl is super the other ones have an attitude of no thank you when you tip them so I stopped tipping go elsewhere. This one had to much in professionalism.”

“I've been buying Peet's decaf dark roast, Major Dickasons, for 2 years. Recently they had new packaging for the same coffee. When I brought it home and opened it I knew immediately there was something wrong, it didn't have a coffee smell and the taste was terrible plus they recently raised prices. I called the number on the package and it was almost impossible to get a customer service rep that took that kind of information. Finally got someone from a foreign country and was kept on phone for 40 minutes and they still didn't understand what was going on. I do don't think she even knew what ground coffee was. I will never buy this product again or any Peet's products.”

“Place an online order for 2 bags of coffee, 12 days later the order still hasn't shipped. Contacted customer service through the chat window, was told that they can't do anything until the order ships and that my order "should ship in the next week" but could not give me any specifics. I asked to cancel my order and was told that I would have to wait until it ships, then have to contact their customer service again and request the order be cancelled. This is the first, and last, time I've purchased Peet's Coffee”

“I bought a L’or barista machine that Peet’s coffee sales. It is a piece of junk. Don’t buy it. It only lasted four months. When I tried to put a claim in because it was still under warranty, they gave me the run around. Even after it was registered when I bought it and proof of purchase was submitted. They still claimed that I did not meet the proper requirements. Once again, do not buy the L’OR coffee machine you will be very disappointed.”

“Your new pastry items have absolutely no taste. Tried 3 different ones and spit 2 out. I used to spend over $2,000 a year for years on coffee and pastries, but now I have to go back Starbucks, which unfortunately is better than your new pastry line. Very stupid corporate executive decision after owning an international corporation. I was going to personally write letters to all the corporate executive board members.”

“Placed an online order two coffees and two pastries after five minutes they told me when they told me it was ready. I came to pick it up. It wasn’t on the order tray for online orders so I waited and I waited and there was no one at the bar making coffee there’s somebody chitchatting on the side over there by the cash register. There was like four people in the whole building. My wife is waiting in the car for the coffee. I finally ask somebody I said did you get my where’s my drink and she looked very surprised and look what’s your name? Oh yeah, it’s right here. It was behind the counter. It never left behind the counter both drinks by the time she gave me the drinks. They were just lukewarm and it was still no pastries on site I had to make the coffee for me twice and twice she forgot to use regular milk. Your place is going down the hall. I’ve been coming to peace for 20 years and it’s getting worse and worse management is not even There.”

“I have never complain bout any restaurant or coffee shop but the employees here are very rude and childish. I showed not have given them any tips until the service was finish diffently not coming back.”

“Logan Airport terminal B has a Peet’s coffee. When ordering a cranberry muffin I asked specifically if it can be toasted with butter. The server said ‘yes’ but 5 minutes later it was handed to me UNtoasted and no butter. She had not conveyed that message to her helper. He then took it and a further 5 minutes later gave it back to me after it was warmed. I explained to her there is a big difference between warmed and toasted and she argued with me that there was not. Very unprofessional and untrained. Don’t tell me you can toast a muffin if you cannot and treat me as if I am an idiot!”

“I have been drinking your French Roast for years! Before that the Big Bang. Publix didn’t have your French Roast yesterday so I bought your Major Dickason’s since I have grown to like the dark roasts. It is disgusting! Worse coffee I have ever tasted! I am a senior citizen so I cannot just go out & replace it. I am so disappointed. I only took a few sips & I can still taste it. Horrible. What a disappointment.”

“I found Peet’s decaf coffee last year when I was looking for a decaf that doesn’t use chemicals to remove caffeine and I loved it. Since then I have purchased 4 boxes of 10 cup pods, 3 boxes of 22 cup pods and 10 boxes of 75 pods. When I got down to the last three boxes of 75 I noticed a horrible bitterness that made the coffee undrinkable. I tested one from each of the remaining two boxes and they were the same. I even went and purchased another small box. It was the same. Bitter and lousy. I don’t know what changed but it’s aweful now.”

“Peet's Coffee subscription delivery service is unacceptable!! Every order has a different timeline; this time 18 days from order to product receipt, last time was 6 days, and the time before 13 days. How is someone supposed to plan their fresh bean supply with a sporadic schedule like that? I cancelled my Peet's Subscription!!!”

“For years I'd go to Peet's for a cup of coffee. The coffee was too strong for me so I requested 2/3 coffee, 1/3 water. I 'd add my milk and it was perfect. As of late the brewed coffee is weak beyond measure. It has no coffee flavor whatsoever. Quality has decreased while prices have increased.”

“Gone downhill. Had a subscription for a few years. Every 2 weeks. It was great but Lately it’s hit and miss. They don’t have the bean they promised, they Charge me but don’t deliver, don’t respond to customer service emails. Something has changed at Peets. Not as good and reliable as they used to be. I’ll probably cancel my subscription and go local.”
