Sept. 9, ‘21 I ordered some ProZinc insulin (£52.49) along with syringes and probiotics for my elderly, diabetic cat. On Friday 10th (17:31) I received the parcel with the insulin vial very poorly packaged and feeling warm to the touch. My Vet suggestion was NOT to use it and a complaint was placed with a request for a swap or refund. A PetDrugsOnline staff then advises me over the phone to go ahead and use that vial as it was shipped within 24 hours (despite my reporting that it was delivered WARM). Even their website suggests it should be stored at 8C. We agree that I should send this spoilt vial back through prepaid recorded delivery and on Sept. 13th I email the Company requesting that a refund should cover both the cost of the drug AND postage (charged at £5.99) to guarantee a temperature controlled environment. (My delivery was in clear breach of contract as delivered WARM). Today, Sept. 16th, I receive a PayPal notification that only the actual drug was refunded but not the postage I was asked to cover so as to guarantee delivery of the insulin at a chilled temperature. Not only this online vet pharmacy was willing to jeopardise the well-being of my beloved pet suggesting to use some WARM insulin. But also refused to refund what they charged for what is effectively an appalling level of service. On the day of the complaint, I placed a new order with AniMed at a very similar cost and today - 16/9/2021 - I received the required insulin in a large box, lined with special woollen material, layers of thick carton, 3 large ice packs and the insulin vial concealed in a folded bubble rap lined envelope which guaranteed delivery at the correct temperature. Out of principle I’m now looking to take this to the Small Claims Court and donate any proceeding to the Battersea Home for Dogs and Cats charity. PetDrugsOnline your customer service is beyond disgraceful. Pet owners, stay clear. Especially if ordering items requiring temperature controlled delivery. Luca F. Pollett

Been nearly a week order still not arrived, after emails and finally getting through on the phone was then informed they are out of stock, why did no one contact me to let me know, i now have to pay out more money and try and get some from local vets. Absolutely useless, don't waste your time and money here you end up paying more in the end anyway.

Terrible service. Paid for express delivery and still not arrived. They don't realise that they are dealing with animals welfare. Will not be using again.

No order received after order placed and with vet prescription for over 7 days ago! This is very poor customer service, no email saying order is going to be delayed. why did I have to ring them , wait on the line for over 15 mins and then have them post it 1st class ? This wouldn’t happen if the vet practices didn’t charge 70 percent more than resorting online.

I order my products on the 6th of Nov and they still had not arrived by the 19th Nov. As a result the ringworm has spread and is much worse. I've had to go to my vet and order another bottle of Imaverol so I can treat my horse. I've been tracking my parcel. It's is an ridiculously slow delivery service. I would imagine if people are ordering drugs they possibly need them promptly so beware if you are in a hurry for your product!!! I have order lots of things on line in the last month and average delivery is always a max 7 days....

Extremely poor customer service. Still waiting, now a month, to find out when or if they are going to stock 6kg bags of Burns lamb and rice or chicken and rice but no one bothers to keep you informed, so much for being a loyal customer for many, many years.

I've ordered flea treatment for my cats. Thought it would arrive quickly. It's not arrived yet. Very frustrating. Just because the prices are appealing, doesn't mean squatt. No tracking number provided. Just bad postal practices. I will not be using this company ever again. Bad experience. Still waiting for my order to be delivered.. shocking company practices.

This has to be the worst most… This has to be the worst most fraudulent company I have ever used on the internet. I do not recommend them to any one. They advertise false promises to deliver, when they don't dispatch and definitely don't deliver on time. I will never ever use again and will certainly not recommend to anyone, I have informed trading standards of their false advertising, not even sure if they are legit. Dont promise a first class post, charge people for it and then dont send.....disgusting company. When you pay extra for fast delivery it is for the animals interest of course, animal lovers they are certainly not!!!

Dreadful company, make promises and offers they just dont have, or keep. If you want security that they are animals lovers and really have your pets best interest at heart, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Make offers of fast next day deliver for medication that your loved ones really need, then dont dispatch or deliver on time. Even charge extra for next day delivery, take your money, which is really all they are after, and still dont deliver essential orders. If you want to get medication from real animal lovers that deliver when needed, pay the extra and use you own vet. This outfit if a real fraud and real let down...

First order ever placed with them for a specific and expensive dog food. After a week I had heard nothing and no delivery. However almost £50 had been deducted by them from my account. I telephoned to find out where the food was - my dog's supply was now running low. I was told there was no stock of what I had ordered. How could they have taken the money out of my account when they had no stock?!?! And not even email or telephone me to tell me?!?! I would give them zero stars if I could.

Customer service was horrible, talked at like I was stupid. They should not be allowed to sell insulin online. Leave it to a real VET because there was no care that our dog has now not got any insulin. Once I finally receive this order ("because they don't post insulin on a weekend - it does say that on the website ok!") I will not be using them ever again. Just rude! Train your staff!

Like one of the other reviews here i have to be generous and give one star because there was no zero option. My first order and it will certainly be my last one part of it was missing and no invoice present with the order. Spoke to two people at customer services who responded in exactly the same way stalling the issue and not wanting to deal with it. I'd love to know what these customers had to do to get a happy service and give a complete star rating, probably glue their lips to their arses of which i am not doing

I always order through pets at home but this time decided to try pet drugs online. After one week of contacting pet drugs online and dpd I never got my product. Both costume service didn’t help me and the answer was the same every single day “tomorrow it will be deliver” I spend 6 days contacting and after several complains they still didn’t care. Please don’t use their services, it’s just a big headache if you aren’t unlucky to have an issue you will be stuck and no solutions will be made. I prefer to spend money in transport and go to other store than rely on their terrible services.

Extremely bad customer service. There was a problem with my prescription and they never bother to contact me to inform me, I was left waiting thinking everything was fine until I called them to ask what happened to my order. The women on the phone blamed the lack of contact on a system problem & reading the reviews there seems to be a lot of system problems with this company…

Placed my order with this company for the first time. E mail my dog prescription the following day to be told 24 hours later that the recipient server did not connect. When contacted, the company said there is nothing wrong with our server. Should be my e mail address !!!! 1 star too good for them. Nil point more likely. Hopefully I will get my money back straight away or will I have to wait due to server issue !!!!

One star is too a high avrating for this company. I have never used them before and certainly won’t use them again. I ordered a large bag if dietary dog food over 2 weeks. Despite the money leaving my account the day after placing the order the product has not arrived. The tracking information says it has been dispatched. I contacted the company a week ago and was advised there had been a warehouse error and it would be dispatched immediately, This did not happen. I have asked for a refund so I can order elsewhere but don’t hold out much hope of hearing from them again.

I ordered quite a few items on prescription inc life saving heart meds that were due to run out 9 or 10 days later. I became so anxious that they hadn't even been dispatched after 4 or 5 days that i contacted them. They said there'd been an error their end - a v cold response frankly, that they would now get on with it. I became so anxious that my dog's medication was going to run out before pet drugs online sorted themselves out, that at that point I ordered the heart meds from Animed. Unbelievably exactly 2 days later my order arrived at my house - now THAT'S what I call service. It took Pet Drugs Online SIX days to even dispatch my order - which still hasn't arrived -absolutely shocking service. A nice apology from the company would have gone a long way partic after i informed them that i was very unhappy with good reason. How on earth one company (Animed) can do in two days a service that Pet Drugs Online have failed to fulfil in 7+ days is unbelievable. I shall be spending a lot of money on prescriptions for my dogs every 3 months now for the rest of their lives, and even though Animed charge a little more, they will get my money every time. The peace of mind makes it well worthwhile. Animed get 10/10, if I could've given Pet Drugs Online zero stars I would've and I so rarely give bad reviews, I just feel strongly that I don't want other people to suffer the same appalling service.
