“they don't bother getting back to you. been trying to order something for weeks now, multiple messages sent and all have gone unanswered! don't bother with this company.”

“Hi, bought the starter pack after reading the reviews- unfortunately, didn’t work as well as described. Used as directed but my puppy continues to wee in the same places repeatedly!”

Thanks so much for taking the time to provide feedback to us, Just to clarify, PetLab isn't a deterrent or repellent—it's a powerful cleaning solution. Our enzyme formula targets and eliminates odours right at the source by breaking down and digesting the uric acid crystals that cause those nasty smells. While removing these odours can help prevent your pet from returning to the same spot, sometimes the problem is behavioural, and a bit more training might be needed.

“Unfortunately this didn't work at all. I used the complete bottle of stain and odour remover on various stains and spots that our boys pee (one geriatric cat and two twits). It did get the stains out of the curtains but one has since continued to go back there to pee. The smell in the corner of our lounge has returned and it didn't touch the stains at all. The smell of the product was beautiful and I've continued to use the washing detergent and disinfectant spray just because I have it. I really wanted it to work but unfortunately it didn't.”

“I love the eco air spray, it works perfectly for my old staffy smells and his bedding. However I have sent 3 emails requesting a reply about my order as I over ordered and wanted to cancel part of itand have had no reply. Customer service is awful, although I receive 2 emails a week trying to sell me other products”

“Unfortunately does not live up to its hype. The odour & stain remover did not get rid of the smell of fresh cat wee nor did it remove the fresh blood from our timber deck.”

“I’ve already applied two bottles to the small carpet area, but the result is very minimal. I followed all the instruction, but it didn’t seem to work very well. Tried to reach out to Customer Service , but the replies are all very standard procedures, almost seems like auto reply. Very disappointing.”

“I had high hopes on this product, unfortunately i've tried spraying 3 different times on my sofa (polyester fabric material), for 3 different pee, 2 pee were a lot, 1 pee was just small marking. The product does not remove the pee smell, the product tries to cover the pee smell, but pee smell is even stronger than the product. I sprayed generously. So I always ended up watering, soaping with normal detergent, and brushing the surface, works 10x better than the spray. Dunno if i did something wrong in the usage :(”

“Did not remove the cat urine smell from my carpet, used the whole bottle. I thought maybe I would try the concentrated version so emailed twice to ask for the money back guarantee to be deducted from a new order (hoping it will work, this is a lot of trust on my behalf!) Heard nothing, not impressed.”

“Have purchased the starter pack and have been using for the last 30 days. I have two Frenchies who unfortunately still persist on peeing in the same areas. The cleaner smells great ....I'd rather not be cleaning up pee though.”

Hi Maru, PetLab is not sold as a deterrent however given that it effectively tackles the source of the odour by permanently removing the uric acid crystals it can certainly discourage your pets from returning to a spot when they're following a scent. However, if there are behavioural issues attached to peeing indoors, I would suggest seeking some advice from your vet. Thanks for taking the time to give us feedback. All the very best!

Hi Nikki Thanks for Taking the time to leave us a review. It is important to note PetLab is primarily a urine stain & odour remover, formulated to break down and remove the odour causing uric acid crystals permanently. It was not formulated to repel or deter animals. By effectively eliminating the odour causing urine crystals from the affected area, our solution helps to diminish the attraction for animals to revisit the same spot. Hopefully this makes more sense. “I was a little disappointed after reading all of the reviews and the smell of the one I received wasn’t very pleasant. I’m not sure if anything had changed but it wasn’t quite what I was expecting and it hasn’t helped remove the smell of cat urine from one section of carpet.”

“Does it remove the smell and some of the stains? Yes! However, when following instructions to the letter, the product leaves an oily residue on tiles even after allowing it time to dry overnight. Tested product on different tiles in different houses to check it wasn’t a once off. After re-mopping multiple times after only one application of a small mist to the tiles at both houses, we are still slipping over days later. Would not recommend to eldery/young children unsteady on their feet for this reason.”

“There was a problem with my order which was resolved. The product however did not work on my dog stains. The company refunded my money very promptly.So Poor rating for product but very good rating for the company.”

“Pretty disappointed with the product. It doesn’t detour my dog from peeing in the same spot, I think if anything it makes him pee there more. And despite cleaning the pee straight away and spraying the product on it, it doesn’t take the smell away. Have had same results from less expensive products.”
