The Gentleman I was dealing with, was Jason (handover person for picking up car) and he was very polite and helpful. My issues with the car were the following:- Firstly the car wasn't ready for pick up as it wasn't in the foyer area. Jason had to chase it up, he advised me that the car was going for petrol which took 20 mins. On arrival, we both started to inspected the car, Jason asked the driver for the main key, which couldn't be found, Jason left me to inspect the car which was no problem. I noticed the paintwork had loads of brown marks all around - I was advised that this wasn't buffed up correctly, Inside the car was dusty, polish was still noticeable on the interior handles and marks on the windows. There were grass like bits stuck in the grooves once the boot was opened. Very disappointing, therefore this experience took the limelight away from collecting my daughter new car. If I had transport, I would of left the car until all these items were corrected. Jason has/or arranged for the car to be picked up on Saturday 9th Aug from myself to address all these points. Key - inside cleaned and Scotchguarded again, paintwork buffed and the protective coating redone and to fill the car with petrol.(Awaiting a call from Jason Wednesday 6th Aug for confirmation) hopefully this will happen. Changed car last week but throughout process dealt with 5 different people - not good. Communication between staff bad. On the day of collection wrong colour car. Lots of stress, disappointment, etc. Once 3 year lease finished will definitely be shopping elsewhere.

1 - waiting time after appointment - approx 40minutes - verge of walking out and cancel car. 2 - ordered and paid for Astra mats - was not with car - still waiting for mats to be delivered - no call to explain delay -

When we agreed to buy the car for our daughter, we agreed finance terms AFTER being told that your own advertising was incorrect, we were supposed to get a "great" APR - but you are offering 6.5% base rate to ALL customers, we then got the paperwork in and found that there was additional charges added on without our permission or knowledge, this is really poor customer support from start to finish!! I had to call the finance Manager Kevin and force his hand at sending us a cheque for the £240.15 our paperwork overcharged us for, we still feel that we are overpaying as your original advert didn't say anything about the £500 trade-in, ONLY when we pointed this out with a snap shot of the site did we get offered the "great" apr - again we feel cheated by Peter Vardy, probably wont deal with you again and this was the 3rd family car we had bought from you

Sales person (duncan edwards) was excellent, but the purchasing department isnt very good as i am still waiting for mats for the car an sd card for the sat nav to work and i never got my full tank of fuel as agreed in the deal.

well I am very disappointed happy to take you money and I have tried to call to get some answers [twice] and still waiting for a call back I have 30years of Vauxhall and dealt with many garages all over the country and this is not the best

Have only given a normal score as I am very disappointed in the service i have received. There has been a catalogue of issues that I have had to deal with and these are detailed below. I wasnt offered a test drive of the vehicle. When i went to collect the vehicle there was an issue with the road tax. There was no MOT certificate with the vehical and it took over a week for this to arrive. No one looked over the vehicle with me. There was no spare wheel with the vehicle, and after i was told it was in and went to collect it, it turned out to be the wrong size of wheel. A couple of days after i picked up the car a wheel hub fell off. This has now been replaced. I have tried at least six times to speak to a manager but still waiting. The boot shelf didnt have wires to allow it to raise when the boot was opened. The forms detailing your three and five year service plans all had the wrong mileage intervals on them. I feel a company such as Vardy's should conduct their business much more professionally than this. My car should have been ready for the road and all the documentation should have been in place prior to me picking it up. I also feel i should have been given the courtesy of being allowed to speak to a manager to air my concerns. I am sorry to be negative but in light of the above I am sure you understand the reasons why this review is so negative. Rev. Dairmuid Meredith Car registration:- SP11 NRU

this is the second car which i purchased from peter vardy the first car purchase went with out a hitch excellent service cannot fault them on sales or servicing I have since went back to the same branch and traded in the car for another and this time round the service i have recived compared to 2 years ago was sadly lacking I have a few issue's still to sort out with the branch at the monent but Sorry to say but i will not be back to peter vardy
