No complaints about the salesman(Chris) who was attending to two customers at the same time no help from members of staff, who were too busy blowing inflatables outside. Therefore I waited from9oclock till 11 o'clock and then my car had no owners manual no aieral no mats and once I got it home discovered no windscreen washer in resovior.as a result I was not happy with the service I got no fault of Chris he was very attentive but was,not helped. And they also lost the car keys which delayed me further. On that performance I would,nt reccomend you to anyone. Harry and by the way how come I paid £9000 for a car you advertised for£6999 I got the model se with no extras I would have I,d get the SL model for that money can you explain that.

I'm sorry to say I would not recommend Peter Vardy as the experience I have had was nothing other than a shambles from start to finish, after getting my car within ten minutes the handle came away from the inside of the door and the radio didn't work. basic checks would have / should have found this.took the car back the following day and expected a quick fix.after many promises and disappointments eventually got the car back two weeks later, many phone calls too Peter Vardy seafield and very few calls returned. usually the call returned would start with do you want the good news or bad news. seems to be the normal saying by each Vardy rep. eventually went down to the showroom to cancel the car and was introduced to the manager who promised the car would be ready two days later. received a call to say good news or bad news car was ready but no one available to deliver. ok so we phoned the following day to say I was coming down to collect the car and was told , good news or bad news ! handle fixed but radio still waiting to be replaced.

Unfortunately during discussions about the price I was mis-informed about what had been included in the deal. Initially a years road tax, £20 of fuel, admin fee and mats were included. After I asked for a discount in the cash price (which I received) these items were removed without my knowledge. It was only when I noticed a reduction in the road tax that the salesman admitted this had been reduced. The other items I only noticed after I had driven away. I have forwarded a complaint letter to your head office already.

Are keen before you pay then dont want to know . still do not have a manual for the car despite asking 3 times. Also picked car up on 01 03 16 as was arranged, paid for 12months road tax when i saw the confirmation it was purchased on 31 02 16 pointed this out when i paid asking for 1 month to be reduced from the bill and was told it would take a long time to re adjust the paperwork and if i paid in full you would send a cheque out in the post i am still waiting. Had to wait 2 hours pick up car as it had to be sent back several times to have marks and scratches buffed out as your peter vardy promise says. This should have been inspected before we picked the car up. Feel we were treated as second class

A wholly unsatisfactory experience when ordering my new Landrover Defender. Informed on the day prior to delivery that wrong car had been ordered. Provided with a courtesy car but had to pay the equivalent of a years insurance premium to drive it for four months. Had to compromise on specification of car and now paying more monthly than originally budgeted. Charged £60 for fuel and tank just over half full on delivery when a full tank costs £40 at the pump. An experience never to be repeated!

I advised the dealer from the begining I knew nothing about cars so put full faith in him that he would tell me if there were any differences from the spec to what I was getting. He told me there was somewhere to plug in an AUX lead which is not true, Also after I had paid for the car in full and went to collect it he unlocked it manually with the key, when I asked why he said the battery needed a minute to load and I could press a button on the key to unlock it once it was full power. This was untrue and the fob was missing, I was provided with two OLD manual car keys which I should of been informed about as I genuinely wouldn't of bought the car without and I will tell anyone who asks of the deceit from someone who knew I had no idea about cars. :-)

After deciding on a car I had delay after delay with the paperwork. The salesman was not returning my calls, to keep me informed, as to what was happening. When I did finally go to collect the car, and was ready to leave, it wouldn't move and was making an awful noise as the salesman had miss fueled the car, which he denied. After being left in the waiting room for an hour with no information, one of your mechanics, who happens to lives in the same area as us, came and offered to give us a lift home which we accepted but left me with no car for 24hrs. Being a childminder a car is critical to my business and caused me some difficulties. The following day, I again had to call to see when my car was going to be available, I had to ask if I could have a loan car as none was offered, was told they would call me back in 2 minutes and didn't hear anything for about 3 hrs when they called to say my car was ready. I had to ask for the car to be delivered to me as I had no way of getting to dealership. Overall I am very disappointed with the service we received.

The service from the salesman and sales team, was very poor. They did not keep us informed during the process of purchasing the car. The sales man, always stated Ït was not his fault" no matter what the issue was. The final insult was when going to collect the vehicle, they had miss fuel the car and then appeared not to know what to do. They left my wife and I sat in the waiting area, with no way of getting home, as they had already taken our old car off us. They also did not tell us what they were planning to do. We had a friend who happen to be there give us a lift home after waiting for over an hour and no updates from the sales team. The mechanics did a brilliant job sorting the sales mistakes and did get us our car the following afternoon. Having changed fuel and fuel filter, and cleaned entire fuel system. Even though the sales people still denied the problem was miss fuelling of the car. So as you can read not a happy customer at all

First of all this is the first time ever I have felt the need to review something as the service was that bad. From Start to Finish buying my vehicle with Peter Vardy Aberdeen was a disaster. First off all I placed the order and was told my Vehicle would be 3 weeks. on the 21st of the month. 20th came and called them and told it would be next week, this went on for a further 4 weeks. First I was told the Vehicle was on its way to the UK and then I was told that it was held up a customs. On speaking to Another Peter Vardy department I was told this was rubbish as it was manufactured in the UK and I was being fed a lie. Finally got the Vehicle 2months late. Cant really fault the Van but the sales care and after sales experience is the worst I have encountered buying. Would definitely not deal with Peter Vardy Aberdeen again.

The salesman seemed more interested in his review rating than my car,and suggested it had to be a 10!! ie the BHP was quoted as wrong he said I had "running lights"which I don't and when I got the car home there was a line from front to back on both sides where I presume a for sale sticker had been.It was agreed that when I was in to get a new key!!the car would be valeted and it would take approx 1.5 to 2 hrs-(a long wait but should be worth it)------4hrs later I was told the car was ready, handed the keys and it was in the car park---no it wasn't in the car park(I searched) !!eventually it 3 people to find it.So overall I would not recommend Peter Vardy.

Car booked in for pre-paid annual service. I pointed out that the yellow "take me to the garage" light was on. Picked the car up- yellow light still on. Took it back 2 weeks later- "the glow plugs need to be changed- £265"- bartered down to £200. Just leaves a rather bad taste.....

Complete lack of competent management of financial preparation for credit application ,while being passed to four different sales staff.final paperwork incorrectly completed and essential checks missed.

Just purchased a brand new Vauxhall Viva. Firstly after putting down a deposit I waited two days for them to contact me after phoning them 3 times. They contacted me saying they had not put the finance in place yet. I then threatened to cancel so this was then dealt with promptly and things were on schedule again. I went to collect my car to be told that the promises of a tank of petrol and car mats had been withdrawn. I complained and was told petrol would be put in the car however a did noticed that I had actually been charged for this petrol and it was not an added extra that they made it out to be. I am now waiting on the salesman who promised me the mats and petrol contacting me. I won't hold my breath it seems like they have my money now there not interested and are full of broken promises.

when I was buying my car your staff couldn't of been more helpful, making me feel like I really mattered. Sadly things were totally different when I went to pick up my car. Nothing was ready and everyone was flustered as it was busy, I was passed from person to person to person and in the end it took nearly 3hrs to get the car. Then once I got it there was no service books or history and other things that should of been done with the car hadn't. I am in the prossess of getting things sorted now thankfully.

I agreed the purchase of a used car & arranged the collection time with the salesman. I confirmed this by e-mail & referred to our verbal agreement of price to include tank full of petrol, one years road tax & participation in the Peter Vardy promotion for 'Black Friday' On collection i discovered that the salesman was on holiday & the only concession they would make at the time was on the petrol. As asked i forwarded my e-mail for further investigation but have heard nothing. To add insult to injury the car, which had been driven up from Edinburgh the previous day, had not been valeted & i discovered traces of spilt coffee in the centre console & the car needed a good wash

Pre sales service was very good. Car delivery was significantly delayed. Poor communication of issues and I felt like I was the one having to chase. Courtesy car never was delivered.

Get phone call asking about lack of stock and waiting to buy my car back. Thought this sounded reasonable in my circumstance so started the ball rolling. Then I found out it was a shady sales ploy no interest in buying my car or lack of stock just wanted me to buy another car 1 year and 2 months into a broad new car. Will never buy from Peter vardy again and will advise any friends or family in future to do the same.

I did wait fro the car 3 almost three months, but while I could understand that, two months after I purchase the car I'm still waiting for instruction book and service book. Yes I did report it twice face to face and once over the phone... Above is affecting my overall score.
