Issue 1. Ordered a GOLD Adam. Two days later I received a call TELLING me it would be red or blue. "not asking me if I'd like another colour" Issue 2. After demanding a gold one because it's what my wife wanted I was told I'd have to pay another £300 because only one available had on star which we didn't want. I paid the money anyway as I was told if I didn't then I wasn't getting a gold one. Issue 3. We've now had the car for 5 weeks and even though I paid the £300 we still don't have on star set up. After sales service has been terrible. Issue 4. Car was damaged on bonnet. Was told it would be collected the Monday after we got it and repaired. On said Monday we received no phone call and car was not collected and repaired until we called to ask what was going on. Apparently the salesman hadn't booked It in. Issue 5. Was told when car was fixed there would be a bottle of bubbly for inconvenience. It never appeared. Issue 6. Was also told wife would receive a bunch of flowers. Never appeared. Issue 7. Was told private plates would be made for us. They were the wrong reg. Called to say I was passing so could pick up correct ones and fit them myself. Was told I'd have them in 10 mins. Waited nearly an hour. Issue 8. On collection day. Saw a salesman WHEEL SPINNING my wife's new car till it hit the rev limiter when going to fuel it. I was absolutely livid. All in all it hasn't been a great experience. My own car is a Mercedes and the difference in customer service is worlds apart. Would appreciate some help with on star. Had enough of going back to showroom.

Ongoing dispute re some aspects of my purchase of a new Astra, in summary : Despite being told otherwise the car did not have a CD player. I expressed a wish for a spare wheel rather than a puncture kit, and paid extra for that to be included. This, I was told, would have to be put on back order, so this was not available at the point of delivery. It was only when I was putting my various bits and pieces into the car at home that the CD issue was noticed and also when I discovered that there was no facility to store the spare wheel i.e. no wheel well in the boot, which was totally flat. When I aired these grievances I was told "You've got what you asked for". I would have not gone ahead with the vehicle purchase if these issues had been known to me.Since then I have been treated in a very off-hand manner and the only suggestion from the personnel at Peter Vardy is to change the vehicle which would result in doubling my payments on the 0 % finance. As a loyal customer of Peter Vardy, having bought several new cars over the years, I am very disappointed to say the least with how this situation has been handled and my intention is to go legal and involve trading standards. Once again I have waited in vain for a "Manager" to phone this afternoon, and not for the first time there has been a failure to communicate on the part of Peter Vardy sales staff.

We bought without seeing it and we're promised by the sales person that the car paint work would be checked. We were also told we were given mats as part of the deal. On viewing the car there were numerous scratches and a white mark on the right side. We mentioned this and we're told to bring it back in the following week. We also were not given our mats as the service department had forgotten to put them in. On getting in the valet was poor and clearly a dog had been in the car previously as there were lots of white hairs all over the bag seat. When we were driving the car the engine coolant warning came on the dash board...we were told the car had been checked thoroughly. Needless to say we were very saddened after being so excited about getting the car. We took it back and it was fixed. However again a kit was not put in our car and had to be dropped off on a different day by Gordon. I just felt that after getting it so wrong the first time it would all have been perfect for us going back. We were considering the service package but after the lack of treatment our car was given we will not be going ahead. It appears that Vauxhall are happy to promise the world but when it comes to delivering it cannot do so. Left a sour taste in my mouth.

Up till now with exception of the sale by billy nelson ,I have have nothing but trouble ,your back up team in Perth have been deplorable ,having now been in three times since the sale and giving two weeks from sale to collection there are still a few items outstanding firstly clip holding bonnet down is loose on one side, the answer given its secure secondly pointed out by myself 2chips in the paintwork which did not exist when purchasing now I have to take the car back again and leave it as several parts will have to be removed from the bodywork to carry out the repaintwork thirdly l have complained about the state of the sides of the drivers seat belt, and as the M OT which was carried out last week and should have been carried out befor delivery now states that this should be noted that this is not correct, but your garage is refusing to replace an obvious defect, the back boot cover was torn and a new one fitted, this is still not to hand, the answer I have received to date is the wrong one has been delivered ,all the seats were to be sprayed with a coating for dog hair prevention again not done ! The paperwork I was requested to sign had a glaring mistake only three months warranty ,one year was agreed this has been rectified in writing on the paperwork and signed by Bill the sales person,as I have said at thre start the only thing that has went right till now was the sale and it's only with the help of your sales person Bill that I am keeping my cool the car is due back into your garage in Perth on the 20th of May and to be left for a few days to have the paintwork carried out,I am not convinced that when I collect again that all will be carried out to my satisfaction ,sorry but I am gradually losing faith, I now am beginning to wish I had went elsewhere ,hope you can prove me wrong ! ?

Staff are very good and very polite. Lady who did the final handover very nice and covered all the essential paperwork. I found the special weekends a waste of time as a lot of the promises advertised did not get me the deal I was expecting. If I'd waited a short while I could have come in any day and signed for a far better deal. You have very good staff, you sell very good cars but the company seems to let the buyer down by not keeping to promises.

Sale was fine, handover of car was very rushed resulting in long wait for personal number plates. Made various phone calls and was ignored eventually had to email to get personal number plates sent. Really not a good after care service. Won't buy or recommend Peter vardy.

Went to view it and test drive at Peter vardy dalgety bay. Obviously was looking for the best deal possible. £3600 was the window price. After Negotiations was told £3600 was the best they could do, they'd put in half a tank of petrol, give it a protection polish and tax and mot for a year. I was happy enough with that and bought it. When I went home my husband looked it up to have a look at photos and saw it was actually advertised by Peter vardy on auto trader for £3500. I felt conned to be honest. I went back and they said it was an honest mistake and could I meet them in the middle. I didn't really feel I had any other choice. So all in all didn't feel great about the whole thing to be honest.

Sales rep was very helpful, not impressed with rest of service. Multiple issues with car which were refused to be put right, guarantee for used cars (no visible scratches, 2 keys) still waiting to hear back even though promised to be in touch to get things put right.

This was my first car purchase(nissan note 1.6). I was in hurry to buy the car and peter vardy was the only store that was opened that Sunday. Pros:- a) Store was excellent and didn't feel like used cars dealer store. b) Free coffee Cons:- a) Pushy salesman and poor knowledge of car. He told us this nissan note doesn't come with bluetooth and owner of this car had installed bluetooth in this car from his own pocket. This was definitely false since I found out later that this nissan notes come with bluetooth b) Overpriced car/hidden charges:- Paid 100£ for the admin fees/paper work which was never told before. c) Horrible after sales service:- I bought the car on 28th April'16 and found that bluetooth was not working, central door locking system wasn't working and the car squeaks. After sales service gave me 3 weeks later date appointment. So not impressed at all with PeterVardy. I would suggest to go for other local car dealers who give reasonably priced cars and give far more better after sales service.

Would'nt recommend buying a car from Peter Vardy. Got the car over a week later than expected and in that week got lie after lie from the salesman as to the whereabouts of the car! Caught him out and he admitted he had lied the whole way through! Not very professional

Bought my first car from Darren in Motherwell could not fault his sales skills as I had to travel 3 hours to the car store he phoned emailed and sent me videos kept me up to date. I then got passed to laura for after sales, everything went wrong from there. Laura was rude not returning my calls till days later not keeping me up to date by waiting until the day before to tell me it went to the wrong branch. Then she told me that she can not find out when it will be at there branch I also told her I needed the car by Wednesday at the very lasted on the Tuesday I phone to find out if the car was going to be ready and she said she would phone her head office to find out straight away as I had to arange plans to head down to the branch. 3 hours later and me levering multiple messages she got back to me and said the car would not be ready until the Thursday. I then asked her to cancel the sale and return my deposit as I could no longer pick up. Her reply was "you want to cancel well a manager has to refund you deposit" and hung up the phone so I contacted the branch back and got transferd to there head office who then put me in contact with the manager who sorted the car sale. Darren then phoned me the next day asking what happen and sorted all the car out to collect that day and put me in contact with kelly to do the handover with well I couldn't of asked for a better hand over with kelly she made it so easy to sort out the paper work and Darren came to apologise agin and put in a free tank of petrol over all I would recommend to anyone Darren and kelly would not recommend laura at all. I don't think she has customer service skill my friend herd the way she was on the phone and he is to renew his car with yourself next year, he said he won't if he has to deal with laura.

I was meant to pick the car up on a saturday 9th April which was delayed, the car was then delivered to me on Tuesday at work after i had called many many times in the morning and the day previous to find out what was happening as the sales person i had dealt with had gone on annual leave without telling me(Angus Donald), after Barry did the very brief handover he then left and i found out my new car had no inflation kit, no handbook and both keys did not work. I called peter vardy perth and was told to take it to a local garage, the car was in there for 4 days (leaving me with no car) and they could not fix the keys, however they did tell me that my handbrake was so loose they would have failed it in an mot (which peter vardy had mot'd the car one week prior) Peter Vardy perth then called me to say they would be picking my car off the next day (Tuesday) so i waited in only to be called later on to say infact it would be the wednesday. Two weeks after purchasing my new car i am still driving around a courtesy car and as yet have not driven my new car more than one journey back from work. Complete shambles and i dont believe my new car was ever even checked over. Very unhappy customer, even though your sales manager Scott has been very polite to me on every occasion, I am still very disappointed with every part of my dealing with Peter Vardy and have not been offered any type of compensation or even an apology.

I thought the picking up off my car was poor no service book salesman didn't know if the car had been serviced as I had asked when agreed sale.

My initial experience was not bad and I was delighted that you had the type of vehicle I was looking for. I was not however offered a test drive of the vehicle which I would have liked. Once I got the vehicle back I noticed a terrible noise with the driver side door. I booked this in to be repaired. I dropped my car off at the agreed time expecting it to be repaired only to wait for 2 hours and to be told that "the part to fix it was not available" and I would have to make another appointment the following week. During this interim period I noticed that the the rear tyre on my car had completly deflated and as this was the 2nd time it had happened in a fortnight I thought it may be an issue with the wheel. When I took it back to have the door repaired I asked if this could also be looked at too. After waiting another 2 hours I was pleased the door had finally been fixed but dissapointed that "there had not been time to look at the rear tyre" so I would have to make another appointment to have this checked out. I dropped my car off this morning and was told to expect to wait around 3 hours to have this problem looked at! Currently waiting to recieve a call letting me know if it has been fixed or not. All in all the follow up service to this purchase has been awful and I have had to waste a lot of my own time on having issues sorted which really should have been fixed when I was sold the car or very shortly after. To have to make 3 trips to the garage in 4 weeks, with lengthy waits each time, really is not acceptable and makes me doubt the quality of the product you sell and the sincerity with which you claim to value your customers.
