“Car looked great when collected but on driving home it was discovered that a rug stud was broken, I returned the car immediately and informed the sales team. I feel the time taken and having to return to the garage twice was excessive and a long with the time to correct the problem, although I would say a minor problem. To me it is usually the minor things that go wrong when a new car is purchased and should be handled fast and efficiently, in preparation just in case of something major later on, it builds confidence.”

Your telephone services are frustrating in the evenings - I phoned the branch number to try and get hold of someone at the branch but was clearly on hold on a nationwide switchboard. I spent 14mins on hold and eventually gave up. It should be possible to contact a branch directly during all opening hours rather than being held in a national queue. (Had I not already payed a deposit on my vehicle by that point I would have taken my business elsewhere).”

when we viewed the car there were 2 minor repairs that we picked up on.
The back bumper was sticking out at the bottom and a small paint job at the passenger side light , the repair at the light looks good but the back bumper still stick s out a little at the bottom , which I did mention to our salesman when I received the car from him.”

“The vehicle was not ready for me to collect at the time I was given, so they salesman had to deliver it himself. When buying an approved vehicle, I expect it to be spotless but the engine compartment was filthy. The salesman apologised and had it cleaned. He also said that the vehicle did not carry a spare wheel, but it actually has one. As a result, when the chap came to fit the towbar he had been given the wrong information and hence had the wrong towbar with him. These things aside, all was OK.”

“We would like to thank Scott (Clark) for all of his assistance whilst we were purchasing our new car. With young children in tow he kindly arranged for us to pick up our car earlier in the day whilst we were doing paperwork to save us coming back in later on which was a big help.
There were a few minor queries / repairs which were required to the car after purchasing and these were dealt with quickly and professionally to a high standard. Fitting in trips to the garage can be difficult to arrange in between school / nursery drop offs / pick ups and other activities however both Scott and the service department organised this around us to fit our circumstances and provided a swift service to ensure I had the car back to pick up the children etc

“Our salesperson, Martin was really friendly and helpful. On the day of pick up there was an issue regarding the car which caused a delay. Although there was no person at fault it of course was frustrating we had to wait much longer than first anticipated. The issue was rectified and extra fuel and the promise of platinum protection package and full valet when we return to have our plates changed was definitely a sweetener. We are however still waiting on a code for free hotel after test driving the astra, we would appreciate somebody getting in touch with us regarding this.”
