The salesman was very helpful and patient and answered all the questions i had. The handover was very unorganised and the car wasnt very clean at all with cigarette ash still in the vehicle meaning i have since had to have the car valeted

Brilliant salesman, Paul Stevens, lovely man , very genuine, not pushy, very knowledgeable, if Paul had been pushy we would not have bought a car, also handover very good with Kirsten Wallace, very nice and very knowledgeable. My only complaint was that I was told I would have my car on Monday!!! After numerous phone calls, I did not get my car until Thursday !! This was very frustrating and very inconvenient, ! Very disappointed that this should happen with such a well known company.

My experience with Reg Vardy while not perfect was eventually sorted out. But I would have preferred to have had my car delivered on time, ESPECIALLY as the salesman had a week to get it all organised. Which should have been more than enough time. To be fair it did eventually get sorted out but I was a day late in taking possession of my new vehicle. Considering I was also paying cash I expected a better deal but am overall happy with my car and how I was treated after the initial problem. Thank you John Hamilton

Great service. Was in to get my first car and was dealt with really well, and even chose my car on the day! Only thing was they said they would paint the alloys black for me and didn't but not that bothered about it.

The canned music in the showroom was awful; particularly so for those of us with a hearing impairment. It can make it very difficult to follow some of the detailed conversations needed. Other than that all was fine, although it took longer than expected to transport the car to the Seafield Road showroom.

Excellent service when choosing to lease a new car with more than one person offering advice. Unfortunately when going to pick up the vehicle at 5pm as arranged we were met on entry and offered a seat with the choice of tea or coffee while our salesman was preparing, or so we thought, our car. We were still sitting 30 minutes later wondering why he had passed by us a couple of times and not explained the reason for the delay. We watched him remove the stickers from our new vehicle in the forecourt then drive off. The original colleague asked if we had been attended to and then came back to tell us the car was away getting petrol added!!!! Our salesman returned and apologised profusely admitting he had not realised who we were even though we had an appointment for 5pm. He did give a very comprehensive guide on the car's workings but it went on too long and we felt he seemed distracted and struggled in setting up the "Onstar" system. We also felt he was in a hurry... so were we after such a long delay. He was a very nice chap and no doubt knows his job but let us down on delivery. Also I have been unable to claim my VX Protect voucher car care kit and although receiving a phone call as a result of my e-mail over a week ago, I have heard nothing since. Perhaps a few tweaks are needed here and there regarding after sales service? This is the second car we have bought from Peter Vardy and would hope you will take heed from this review because we still think you're trying to improve.

Had to wait around half an hour to get car as they were still servicing it then going for petrol, found out the wheels are on wrong as tyre pressure monitor shows that when I pump up the back tyre the pressure goes in on the front on monitor, have to take back at y expense which is a 100 mile round trip.

great sale and got car on time. car has however had to go bk in at just over 2 weeks after with faults. this maybe could have been avoided if someone had taken the car for a drive prior to me getting it. breaks are squeeking and grinding and the windscreen wash smells foul.

Sales and handover were brilliant, felt really well looked after and Eddie kept us informed at all stages. Top marks. However the vehicle purchased is now back in your service department just days after we collected it, waiting for parts (from Germany, allegedly, which will take a week). Impressed with the sales process, not very impressed at all with the reliability of the car you sold us.

Car still has a couple of noticeable scratches duncan edwards the salesman i was dealing with was great i have no complaints towards him got them a quick touch up and said if I wasn't happy they would sort them properly they have came back after washing the car I purchased the car from your seafield branch but stay in hamilton would it be possible to have the repair done in motherwell also will definitely buy again from peter vardy loved the service and the car thanks for a hassle free car buying experience

We collected our car on 8th June with no complaints however once we arrived home and had a proper check of the vehicle we found a couple of faults we felt should have been picked up on the 114 point vehicle check and M.O.T. We telephoned Brett, the salesman we had previously been dealing with, asking if these faults could be rectified however he didn't get back to us. We called again the next day, 9th June, and once again he failed to call back as he promised he would. On Monday 12th June we went down to the garage and eventually spoke to a manager, Ali, who was extremely helpful and assured us the faults would be repaired at our convenience, which they were. We have to say compared to the customer service we received prior to purchasing our car, after sales initially left a lot to desired. There was also a promotion on when we bought our car; £150 holiday voucher, which we were assured would be posted out to us within a few weeks of collecting our car but needless to say we are still waiting for these and will know doubt have to chase them up. Also we were told our car would be given a full valet before collection but when my grand children were in the rear on the first day we received it they found bits of chocolate and cobwebs! A bit disappointing from such a well known company.
