“I have insulin delivered which the manufacturers stipulate should be delivered before first use at chilled temperatures 2-8 degrees. The general practice for this delivery is to be delivered in cool packaging which guarantees the chilled temperature for 72hrs. Pharmacy2U insist in delivering my insulin in the correct packaging but not with the frozen pack frozen, or even chilled, consequently my chilled medication arrives to me at ambient temperature. The customer services is a nightmare to get hold of, the queue to speak to someone is horrendously long, I usually give up, their website say they only take enquires via their automated messaging service which just points you to the website help and info section if you have any query that's not simple.
The customer service person I last spoke to was rude, talked over me and was no way sympathetic to me asking for my insulin to be delivered chilled as their website says they do and the manufacturer say should happen. This person blamed the post office, told me it didn't need to be delivered chilled and he would not promise me future delivers would be chilled and so because of this I've now reverted back to Lloyd's Direct who have supplied 2 orders of insulin to me chilled as required.
I'd had no issues with medication delivery of anything else fom Pharmacy2U but because miss stored insulin can cause adverse effects when using it, my conference in Pharmacy2U along with the difficulties in contacting them has caused me to close my account.”
“Utterly useless company, full of lies. I have been waiting for my medication for two weeks. Told on 17.04.22. It would be in stock and sent out on 18.04.22. This didn't happend. Then told on 19.04.22 it would be dispatched that evening or the next morning. Only to go on the App this morning to find out that they have canceled my medication order all together. Absolute shambles of a company. Nothing worse in this world than lies. I have no medication now because of these people that I need daily.”
“I've been given medication for sickness during pregnancy. Still havnt recieved my medication nearly a week later. I can now feel my ribs, throwing up acid and the sickness is getting worse. If you need your medication within days then Pharmacy2u is NOT for you. They say your order is processed within 2 working days. FALSE. At this rate I'll be going into hospital because I can't even leave my room I'm that weak.”
“Terrible ticket system - orders regularly get stuck in some kind of black hole on their system and can only be moved forward by chasing the support team.
Having detailed the exact issues and when it's triggered, the team have made no attempt to solve the problem in their software.
Please use any other service - they are terrible.”
“Their website is down and unlikely to open. Apparently, Pharmacy 2U have been selling lists of clients' names and addresses to other companies, that have then targeted vulnerable individuals within those lists. Shame. Pharmacy 2U could have been a good company offering a great service. Instead, it appears from the news reports that it's turned out to be just another dodgy business to be avoided.”
“Much like many of the other comments here, I signed up and my first order went smoothly. They cancelled my repeat prescription blaming "no stock" so I went back to my local pharmacy. I have tried to remove my Pharmacy2U account but there is no option to do this online. You can only send emails to them OUT OF HOURS otherwise they will not be looked at (!)
I had a live chat and the operator was extremely pushy, asking all manner of intrusive questions as to why I wanted to close my account. As soon as I mentioned data protection and GDPR regulations she said that they were unable to action account closures online due to "patient welfare" and that I had to telephone. I telephoned them immediately and they said they were experiencing high call volumes and that I would receive a callback the same day (they say this every time you call them!)
An absolute shambles of a company. I wouldn't trust them to open a can of beans that was already open and I will be contacting the ICO to raise a complaint against them. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.”
“I have been reading the reviews and agree with all the comments. I have now re-arranged my requeats to go to my local pharmacy. I should never have signed up in the first place. My GP stepped up to the mark and as I was left with no means of getting my repeat prescription from them.”

“My GP authorised my medicines for six months and I ran out of medicine before I tried to contact them, they only talk to medical people and I being non medical could not get through, problem in communication, there were other issues and I ended up leaving them for a local pharmacy.”
“They recieved my prescription from the doctor on the 29th Dec 2022, on 13th Jan 2023 I'm still waiting for it even to be sent out. Impossible to get a reply to my emails and they are not taking phone calls. Will not use them again.”
“Pharmacy2U have failed miserably- cancelled vital medication from my order after it had been approved by my GP as they were ‘unable to supply’ with no offer of supplying when available etc
Do not process prescriptions in a timely manner, my GP signed off the request the same day and 3 days later they have still not actioned it. I find myself chasing the prescriptions, calling the GP, to see where they are up to!
It is impossible to make contact with them, I’ve tried using the phone and also via email and can never get through. I will not be using them again as they are unreliable and uncontactable.”
“In the beginning, P2U were requesting my repeat prescriptions too early and my GP refused the requests. There was a half-decent service after this was corrected, but then the time scale between ordering and receiving my medication widened and sometimes I was without medication for up to three days. The final straw has been total neglect by P2U to order and deliver my most recent prescription. When trying to use their online live chat I had to wait 40 minutes as I was 30th in the queue, so obviously a lot more problems occurred than just mine. The online assistant was insolent and just defensive instead of trying to solve the problem. I have now reverted to ordering my prescriptions through my local Gp surgery and using a conventional pharmacy.”
“Until now I’ve been pleased with the service but why oh why send my meds by Royal Mail during the strikes? Now I’m out of tablets and I find there’s no way to contact this faceless company. The online chat closes instantly saying there are no staff available. The telephone line after many options says they are too busy dealing with other customers and closes the call. The customer service is rubbish and really frustrating.”
“Great idea, dreadfully executed!
First time setup and order was simple and arrived quickly. As I was about to run out of medication I received a text message advising me I should need to order soon and to simply reply to the text with 'Yes' to order the item. Which I did.
1 week later and I have run out of my medication and looking at my account no order has been placed. I've tried to contact by phone and it keeps telling me all the agents are busy and to try again another time. I get exactly the same using the online chat. Not impressed one bit as I will now have to buy over the counter medication while I wait for my Dr surgery to issue the prescription to the pharmacy down the road. I'll be closing my account and going back to the old fashioned way of getting my medication now.
Nice try Pharmacy2U but you failed at the first hurdle”
“As per others here. Prescription placed, there site states order in minutes, get approved 1 to 2 days then its all set up. Rubbish. My account with them shows 3 pending prescription for the same item for a month weeks apart. Not received anything. Trying to cancel or close the account you have to ring up 9 to 5 and never get thru. Truly shocking for a company supposedly making your life easier.
I was warned to avoid them but gave them a chance yet the same as what happened to a friend has happened to me.
Now going to raise a formal complaint. Christ is it really that hard to do what they supposedly say they can do?”
