“This product is a scam. Didn’t come with 3 months of free gamepass as advertised. Have never purchased gamepass before. Emailed support many times and they won’t respond. It’s all a scam.”

“I bought it looking forward to using it in combination with the app. But with the forced Backbone+ paywall: that just turned me off too much, so I’ve returned it. Also I didn’t like how loud the clicky face buttons were, how small the analogue sticks were, and it made my hands cramp slightly. I could see people loving the build, it just wasn’t for me.”

“it could be great but it’s crazy uncomfortable to hold for extended periods of time. the hand handles need to be about a half inch longer for a more comfortable grip. for now, i wouldn’t recommend it specially for experienced gamers.”

“Well built controller. Feels very sturdy compared to other products on the market. I do not particularly care for locking controller compatibly behind a pay wall. The other stuff is understandable but not the controller functionality. I already know the rebuttal. “We give you a free year of Backbone+” So it looks like I have a year to find another controller that is not going to charge me so it can use it…”

“A somewhat mediocre device that is overpriced. One nice thing was a 3 month trial of XBOX Live ultimate. After a week of back and forth with the customer service (it is exclusively email and they take up to 24 hours to respond for each action), they still can't get me a simple code to access XBOX Live ultimate. I recommend looking elsewhere.”

“Honestly, very disappointed. Trying to play games in the backbone app and having to spend all this money for different applications or going to the internet trying to play a game. The only good this controller can do it Xbox cloud gaming.. I purchased this thinking the games would be through the backbone app, not just a middle man and having to run all over the place trying to buy games. And I certainly didn’t intend to spend more money on second hand gaming platforms such as Stadia. In my opinion, this controller is worth no more than $20 and I am truly angry with myself that I convinced myself spending $100 on this would be a good idea..”

“I would have liked to know ahead of time that it would not work well with an iPhone 12 pro max, because I would not have bought it. With my iPhone it will not sit correctly in the back on and it is almost impossible to use so I wasted my money. I am not very happy here. I wasted $100.”
