“The costumer service was fantasist. The replaced product, however, was not the same quality as the original. I’m not sure why the quality was different but the product still functions the same.”

“Really nice buttons and joysticks. Wish it worked with phone cases so I wouldn't need to take my case off to use it but otherwise it's great. I like the small size.”

“Everything works well for the system I have, they were more than generous with their provided membership to both Backbone and Stadia. The controller is responsive and mostly comfortable in my hands, the biggest issue is it tends to slip frequently due to a lack of any grip on the handle. I wish they sold or provided a pair of silicone grips, as some of us are cursed with dry hands and the issue is universal with 90% of the controllers out there.”

“This thing works great. Perfect for any gamer on the go. Easy to interface with other gaming mediums' UI. The only downside to this that I have found thus far is that you cannot keep your phone in its case.”

“The best gaming accessory for iPhone! With Backbone One I'm able to play with iPhone (but also with my iPad and Mac) as well as a real console. It works fine with my iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max (using the adapter of course). A few things that could be better in a future version of Backbone: the compatibility with iphone covers (lightning plug could be not fixed) and adding real support for bigger devices as iPhone 13 pro max. The backbone software is so lovely and has the same look and feel of Xbox Dashboard. Anyway I think that 50 Euro for annual subscription is too much expensive for this type of service. I suggest to change it to 20 Euros for annual subscription or add a life-time price.”

“Only thing holding me from a 5 star rating is the fact that theres no way to use the backbone with a phone case on. Beside that the backbon is perfect. Playing games on my phone just got soo much better!”

“Almost perfect. This is a high-quality controller which is made even better thanks to the Backbone app. It has a nice feel to it, and most—if not all—of the buttons you expect are there. I prefer it to most controllers out there, so to have it on a phone is just amazing. That said, the iPhone 13 Pro is almost at the end of its initial production cycle, and Backbone only fits using an adapter. It's disappointing the controller itself isn't designed to fit the iPhone 13 Pro (especially since it's a $100 controller). The adapter also causes the phone to sit at an angle. It doesn't look good. It was a good solution for the controller at the time, but it really needs to be updated to fit the most current phones when they come out. Apple makes case specs available to manufacturers ahead of time to give them time to adapt their products.”

“The only thing I’d like to see is a small spring under the connecting pins so I don’t have to take my phone case off each time I want to use the game pad. Other than that it’s literal perfection.”

“Very good controller, comfortable in the hand. Love that you can charge your phone will playing to. Only complaint is about how loud the x, y, a, b buttons are. Makes it hard to play at night.”

“It’s a good controller and it’s everything I need to play. One thing I don’t like about it is the joystick layout. I found it hard to play since my hands are big. If the backbone controller can have the joystick layout like a PlayStation controller, i will totally love it and rated 5star.”
