“It’s not a bad controller, but the problem is that the number of apps that it can be used for is limited. With the way the buttons are set, you may be confused on what to press at first, especially some apps as they may have overlapping commands on one button. However, the controller works very well when it comes to the ps and Xbox games(as long as the connection holds).”

“The process of trying to get a replacement due to warranty and the backbone being bought as a gift was a huge runaround and I hope that in the future, this process is more streamlined.”

“Pros In short an awesome controller with a brilliant accompanying app. Cons Build quality it’s lacking and could be more durable. Better quality materials and parts could be used. Would expect better quality for the price compared to competitors.”

“Was great while it worked. I think I had it about two weeks, played on it a handful of times and it stopped working. Waiting on a response from customer service to see if I can either get another one or at least a refund.”

“I was so excited when I first got this but it still feels like it needs improvement. I mostly use it for Xbox cloud gaming. Specifically Halo Infinite and Forza 5. The most common problems I face are repeatedly having to log in to get it to load properly. Then closing the app. Restarting my phone. When it does work it it does one of two things fairly often. It lags out completely and asking if I want to return to the home page. Then a few seconds later it comes back but with no sound. When this happens the general game play is pretty good. The other occurrence is laggy gameplay through out playing. Laggy stream and delayed controller input. What’s weird is sometimes it’ll work great and other times it’ll get worse and worse. Forza’s nice because it has a rewind button. Sometimes I have to give up on Halo multiplayer. Wi-Fi quality and some luck makes a huge difference. Even with the problems I believe this product is worth it. It’s so close to being incredible and I think it’ll get there. Less demanding and non multiplayer games work better. I still got to beat the Halo campaign for such a cheap price and for that I am grateful.”

“The controller itself is outstanding. The software amazing. The $50/year for the app is absolutely ridiculous. I’d 100% pay for the software because it works incredibly, but that’s a high price on top of the $100 entrance fee. I know I was aware of it beforehand and I LOVE the controller, but please rethink the full cost of the sub.”

“No Adapter for 13 Pro Max even though it showed that I had said added to my order so not been about to ready try it out so how do I go about getting the adapter for it and I have proof that it was ordered with it”

“The idea behind this is great but there are some flaws. For one you can’t use it with a case and the phone gets really hot after a few minutes. If these issues were fixed it would be an awesome thing to have.”

“I would have it 5 put the year charge of 50.00 I find kinda crazy. 50 for the year plus Xbox year price to. I have to backbones so to have two different accounts I have to pay 100. For year plus Xbox. Should keep it free. Know a guy that has it and told me it was free and then I ordered and it’s not.”

“Cool product it’s a clean design, you can’t use it with your phone case on. Well, you can but it won’t line up well. I gave it 3 stars because you have to pay a subscription to use the backbone app, but the controller will work without it. Feels like a Nintendo Switch controller but more contoured for the hands.”
