“The actual device is fantastic, but my lack of 5 stars is due to customer service. I purchased the device less than a week after they announced the subscription service being a yearly cost but that wasn't anywhere on their homepage or the purchase page. I only noticed it when reading tech specs AFTER purchasing. I wrote to customer service requesting to be grandfathered in to the free for life deal or for them to cancel my order. I wrote multiple emails and all I got back was a free year which is what all new customers were given. I asked again to cancel the order and never heard back. I ended up keeping the device because it's great but the customer service was lacking to say the least.”

“App and integration with apple games and Xbox gamepass is pretty solid. Hardware works well. My biggest complaints are: I think putting effort into a case with a small lever on the left hand half that lets you adjust the depth of the lightning port so that it can support in-case use would be worthwhile. Having to take off a very slim case to use this rather sucks. My other complaint is that the gamepass code only works for new signups. Know your market much? Wasted codes that deliver no value. Let us pick a one month for current subs or something as an alternative? Something.”

“Great design and function! Only downside was the build on mine was slightly poor. The right trigger was mushy and recessed right from unboxing. Maybe just a QC issue. But the return policy and support was great. Thank yoU!”

“Backbone Labs the company has a great product and great ideas but they need time to get their product into more hands before the community aspect of the Backbone has any true meaning. In the interim the emphasis on the Backbone software over an override to include a Home Button is a detriment for mobile players using a variety of software from GeForce Now to PS Remote Play. Many many hardcore mobile gamers on iOS play less mobile specific games and more remote streaming. trying to use the steam app without fast guide access is rather miserable. This is the only thing the Kishi has right over the Backbone on iOS.”

“The item looks good but, when yiubare using playing with it the iphone 7 plus battery side is getting hit very hot, its not a good sign. So, i stop using them😢 The controls and materials made seems good, the only drawback is the battery from your iPhone is getting hotter the linger you play/use it.”

“Feels awkward when using it with the iPhone 12 Pro Max. Had an issue where the Backbone wasn’t responding. When I reached out to the company, I was asked to perform a whole bunch of things for them to prove the controller was defective. I haven’t used it since. Poor customer service has me telling people not to buy one.”

“I love the fact you can do the share play, and other games like madden GTA etc. Only down fall is when you do, do the share play it may just be mine but it forecloses it and have to do the process all over again. But freaking awesome controller”
