I am grateful I live in Florida where I can meet the owner or the one making the brace to make sure I am putting it on correctly. It is adjustable, so if my dog loses muscle mass or gains , there is room for adjustments.”
“The customer service of the company was great and I was impressed with the quality of the brace. Unfortunately while wearing the brace over the next couple months my dog's CCL tear progressed from partial to complete, and then a large bucket handle meniscus tear walking up the stairs (again while wearing the brace). The surgeon looked at her walk in the brace and noted it did not prevent the shear force of her knee. Not sure if it was just for my dog's individual case or a common problem. I really hoped this would work and again was happy with the service and product, it just didn't carry the day for our particular case.”

“While I thought this would be a good option for my 11.8 yo rottie, but due to her lack of muscle mass in the rear in both legs, this brace is to heavy for her and would not be suitable to help her ability to improve. I made the decision to interview 2 surgeon's for surgery, chose one and after they went into her leg arthoscopically, finding her ligaments were badly shredded, they weren't able to perform the TPLO and reverted to the Tightrope method. I have been thru a TPLO surgery and recovery so I know how hard it is, but the recovery is a lot faster than the brace may have provided for her. She's now 8-9 weeks PO and just now her rear muscles are starting to improve, but still not strong enough to hold this brace. As she recovers with muscle tone, I'll chat with her vet to see if maybe using the brace will help her, but only after she's ready to play with my other dog and then use it only at that time. I know this brace is well built but is not for all dogs. I believe that a vet exam is necessary to determine if a dog is capable to wear it and not break a leg further up, as this was my concern with her age and condition. Good luck to all that are using it.”
“Happy with the brace, really helped with our 10 year old Saint Bernard (right in picture). Had a little trouble with slipping down over the hock, had to resecure it after a bit of walking. Hair seems to compress over time after the brace is put on. Stays on after the rescure.”

“I ordered and received my Posh brace in June of 2024 after my 130 lb German Shepherd injured his acl while playing chase and fell. I'm in the medical field and I know that whenever you cut (surgery, you always lose muscle) When considering the brace vs. Surgery we chose the brace based on the fact that no matter what rehab was a must.
We couldn't be happier with the results. After the helpful measurements were taken, the brace arrived in a reasonable amount of time. It fit perfectly and began our rehab walking program. Starting with with short walks and eventually building up to three miles a day. We are currently on our nineth month of our rehab program. Samson our Shepherd quit limping after about 3 weeks. “I am super pleased with this brace. The brace is custom fit, and while I did not believe my dog would wear it, he immediately got relief and was happy to be walking around. He wore it consistently after injury for about 4 months and has worn it off and on for over a year, usually only after he has a relapse. I also live in a very snowy area and I put it on him when the drifts are deep just to slow him down a bit so he doesn't reinjure himself. I am so glad I did not get the TPLO for him. The brace has really helped, but so has time. I would definitely recommend POSH brace if your is diagnosed with CCL tear and you just aren't quite sure that surgery is the best option. It is definitely worth trying and I'm so glad I did this for my pup.”
“Cosmo had great success with posh brace..we bought the bilateral one though Cosmo never used only the left one.. “Everyone at Posh is wonderful to work with and they put great pride in their workmanship. Remi (2.5 year old Rotten Rottie) was first diagnosed with a CCL tear and we ordered the braces with Posh. Before we could get the measurements back to them we had to take her to an Ortho Vet and found that our vet diagnosed her wrong. She has a partially torn Achillies tendon. Posh switched gears and jumped into finding a solution that would help her. We live within an hour of Posh and Rick came to our house measured Remi and made a custom 3 Strap hock wrap and we purchased a Hock brace from them. While Remi will never be able to really run and tear around like she used to; she is not in nearly the amount of pain she was in or would be in without the extra stability of the brace.”

“When your pet has a serious injury it takes a special community to understand the stress and pain you as their human are going through trying to do all that you can for your pet. Finding Posh and getting this brace was 1 million percent the best thing for our Bella and family. Bella tore her CCL at 3 years old and knowing already from her spay she doesn’t take to anesthesia well, and the fact she would have to be crated for months post op surgery, I could not go through that without trying a less invasive route first. “My dog Izzy was 10 years old when he tore his CCL. Surgery was just not a good option for many reasons, so I turned to bracing. Soft braces do not work well, but Posh's custom fit brace was a good choice to help Izzy build scar tissue and get strong again. “We had high hopes for this helping our Great Pyranees, but it just wasn't great. He got a sore under the brace, he chewed the brace off, in theory might have helped but in the end a very expensive investment that just hasn't been that helpful”
Hi! Have you let the veterinary technicians know? There are many things we can do to help with this, such as try a different hock wrap or repair any damage or chewed pieces on the brace. This is a good example of why we do say to have the brace on during supervision and to go nice and slow at first, working them into wearing it more and more.
