“I ordered the a 40 item post box in excess of £1000 from this company on 13/06. The company never answers their phone line and if they do they are very vague with info. Wish i had read the reviews before ordering. Apparently the post boxes were damaged and had to be re-manufactured, lots of excuses with no answers. I am hoping someone will get back to me soon.”

“I wish I’d seen everyone’s reviews before I placed my order. The £179 post box arrived within five days of placing the order. It was very damaged and this was not due to the packaging and had not occurred in transit, it was clearly damaged beforehand. I’ve had no response to my request for a full refund via the request button on my original order, no response via email, no response via the ‘contact us’ button, the phone number on the website is not in service and an alternative phone number I found via Google is also defunct. Absolutely disgraceful.”

“Purchased a letterbox. It didn't arrive in the stated time so I contacted Postboxshop via phone. I managed to speak with Tia who was most helpful and explained I had ordered the most popular style and colour. She checked the status and said it was still going to be a while until she had stock back in. She offered me an alternative postbox or a full refund. Its not a scam website as some have stated. Its just that everyone is ordering the same postbox. I also had no issues in contacting them and getting a refund.”

“Sadly I fear this Postboxshop.com is in financial trouble. Following an online order of £170, they could not be bothered to email me the status of my order. I chased and chased and it transpires they do not hold stock and they are simply a reseller. I requested a refund and a week later I received an email to say it had been raised, to date it has not been received. I am still chasing my refund now, some three weeks later which is against consumer rights. I bought the same product from another online seller, it arrived the next day and was installed the day after. POSTBOXSHOP.COM = NO STOCK and NO REFUND !”

“Ordered one item 16th feb , no delivery yet, phoned many times and left messages no one call you back. Emailed them no one replies. Don’t know how this business is surviving? DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, looks like a scam company, I would stay clear.”

“Awful experience. I have ordered an expensive post box. It has not been delivered for weeks and I have had a nightmare trying to speak to anyone. No body answers the company phone (try the number, guarantee it was go to voicemail) no one will call you back. I have had a rare response to one of my many many emails asking when I can expect my order. But it was telling me they would call me, but nobody ever did. I have no idea if my order will ever arrive but as I have spent every day for the last 2/3 weeks trying to speak to someone in the company and no one will reply. It looks like this is a scam company. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!”

“Ordered a post box on the 11th September and after two months of waiting for stock, deliveries sent to the wrong address my post box arrived last week, sadly damaged and unable to be used. Despite calling and emailing asking for a replacement or refund if this wasn’t possible I’m still waiting for a acknowledgement. Customer service seems very ad hoc at best. If you call you just get a answer machine and email responses often take days.”

“ordered online with a3to5 day delivery promise had to wait 6 weeks for delivery tried your telephone number on numerous occasions but just got a taped message left several messages and asked for an update but had no reply. would not consider ordering from you again unless your customer service is improved”

Dear "customer", we have been trading for over 15 years, so we are far from being a scam. If you sent 6 emails, you would have received 6 replies saying we are currently on annual leave and will reopen on Tuesday 20th September. We very much look forward to hearing from you then.

“Firstly, the wrong item was sent - a mix up with the address labels. Once that was resolved, there were no keys with the parcel box - possibly lost when it was mis-directed. Now waiting for a replacement ...”

“Waited weeks for the post box to turn up, despite numerous chases. It eventually arrived with a ‘Trumpet’ ? Logo on the front face of the box which was not on the face of what I had ordered. The quality of the product was very much not in line with the visual either. Needless to say I have returned the product for a full refund !!”

Mr Tobin Disappointed about the review as our website clearly shows an image with the "trumpet" on. As for the quality of this box you chose in the budget category, it is your opinion, but the Sirocco mailbox is still one of our best seller. About your the comments on delivery, you would have heard there are currently disruptions in the supply chain affecting the UK, including much larger outlets than ours, and we would have mentioned that to you. Finally, as requested and mentioned in your email, we have fulfilled our refund policy as we always do for clients wishing to return their purchase.
