Cookery books boring, too much cake decorating. More curry and asian books needed. If you supply good recipe books not some of these silly titles we would buy then

Delighted with quality of book purchased. Very disappointed with method of delivery (Evri). Book was delivered by courier to wrong address (77 instead of 73 Barnards Green Road). We only received it one week later because neighbour delivered it to us.

The order arrived in due time. However it was disappointing that a book set of two was not in stock. As a result a credit of £6.99 was made. Any subsequent orders would require an additional £3 delivery charge.

Good morning Mr Sinclair, As a limited stock retailer, we do sometimes have items go out of stock which have proven to be very popular with our customers. I am glad to see that you were immediately reimbursed for the missing items. Our telephone and online ordering customers benefit from the advantages of real time information as to whether a product is out of stock, but unfortunately this is impossible to achieve for our customers who choose to order via post. I ordered several books. One of the books was bound with pages out of sequence. It was replaced and the replacement book has the same problem.

Good afternoon Mr Jackson, I was concerned upon reading your comments about The Amazing Animal Atlas, so I have just acquired a physical copy from our warehouse to check this out myself. Immediately I can see where the confusion may lie, as I too had to double check. At first glance the pages do appear to be out of numerical sequence. However, there are several pages in the book which actually lift from the spine to create a larger fold out view of the information. So for example, you will see that it skips from page 15 to 17, but if you fold out from the spine, you will see that the pages fold out to reveal page 16 and others, this is true throughout the book. I am sorry for the confusion, but hopefully now you can enjoy the full beauty of this wonderful book. Thank you for bringing this to my attention, as I will now share this with our Customer Services Team should they have any enquiries like this from other customers. Although I was in at the time of the delivery,between 3 and 5pm, the bell was not rung.So when online it said it had been delivered I did not know it had been put in Green bin at the side of the house as no note was put through the letter box. Luckily the wet did not get through the superb packing..

I can see on your account that the courier left it in the requested safe place, and you should have received an email to confirm this, however I will raise this with the courier for review. I was at home waiting for delivery but the delivery person did not use the doorbell so he/she delivered to my neighbour. This was slightly annoying but the books were well packed and in good order

I can see that we have an instruction to deliver to a neighbour, however this should only be the case if you are out and the courier cannot hand it to you. I will ensure that this is passed to the courier for review so that it can be taken into consideration for future deliveries. I'm glad to hear that you're happy with your order and that the inner packaging ensured the good condition of the books when they reached you.

Good service from Postscript books, but the actual book itself was dreadful.......just shows that there is no substitute for browsing in a bookshop - catalogue or on-line run the risk of delivering a dud.

I'm not sure what can be written other than everything matches my expectations. I.e., I go to the site, I order the books, (although getting several books coming up when you enter a code seems to indicate a weakness in the identification process.) the books arrive within the stated period. All of this is in line with my expectations. When what is received is as expected then the response is neither 'good' nor 'bad'; simply "not bad", "acceptable", "Ok" etc. I have promoted the company to colleagues in my reading group and some have taken out memberships. I will be leaving some past catalogues with several craft groups on Wednesday and some members may take out memberships with Postscript.

The catalogue has a good and varied selection of books but ordering on the website is not always easy.

Your staff sre helpful and friendly though it takes a while to get through. Your on-line ordering is not always easy as the site can be sluggish.

I had difficulty paying by Apple (my usual method) I did use Paypal. Also, I did send an email but got no response.

Generally a good selection, but if books are out of stock they don't give customers a chance to cancel the order, but merely credit the customer's account. And they don't include the postage charge in the credit. Also delivery is extremely slow.

We receive a large quantity of mail orders every day and unfortunately, we are unable to contact all our customers regarding out-of-stock titles. When you receive your order, it will be marked on your despatch note to say the item is out of stock. If you would rather not have a credit, then you can contact us, and we shall refund you the value of the credit. I can see that the most recent orders you have placed with us were delivered within the 3-5 working day timeframe. If the delivery is delayed beyond this, please feel free to get in touch and we will investigate what we can do to help. Alternatively, you can opt for a next working day service if the items are required urgently.
