I have not had a problem with.daniel tabner he has assured us that we will complete so I'm not worried I'm sure we will as soon as the outage issue is sorted Claire unsworth

Coudn’t fault them. Eway app was easy to use. Sometimes frustrating as it can take a while to get through to them but it just takes patience. I wouldn’t want their job, just remember they are making sure you buy a property that won’t have issues when/if you want to sell it. It’s a shame more people don’t appreciate the work involved behind the scenes, it’s not easy!

Our Sale completed in around 9 weeks, our Conveyancer Rachel Fordham was contactable and very prompt with all details. All progressed very smoothly even the more tricky parts such as the Buyers solicitors questions. Whole experience was much more visible and less stressful than other purchases and sales with other Solicitors.

We had a fantastic solicitor called Amita. We bought our property in November and moved in by January. This wouldn’t of happened with her hard work and attentiveness to get it pushed through. There was a hiccup along the way through miscommunication from other colleagues in the busniess but never the less Amita got the job done and in amazing time too. Thank you again

They were very helpful when we called to ask any questions however, I feel they could have had better communication with us and not waited for us to always call them. We are fairly new to the property ladder and needed slightly more guidance.

Was recommended ppl by purple bricks who sold my wife's late parents home within a week to a first time buyer with mortgage approvals in place, no chain and still waiting 6 months later, can't get hold of anyone, emails not answered, no contact whatsoever, repeat requests for the same information, having to complain to the solicitors regulation authority and the law society, legal ombudsman, these lot are a law unto themselves steer well clear of them, use them at your peril,

Have seen some poor reviews on here however apart from a couple of issues my experience was pretty good, very pleasant whenever I rang and Hayley was really helpful in the days before exchange of contracts,

We were due to exchange on the 9th November with our buyers wanting to Complete on the 22nd November, on the 8th November we noticed that the website and app wasn't responding. We filled in the online form, our conveyancer, Holly, told us she couldn't get into the system, we would have to wait. I submitted another contact form the following week, explained that our buyers were elderly people who had moved out of their home and were in effect homeless. We eventually exchanged and completed on the 30th November, 8 days later. I believe our sale was prioritised owing to our buyers circumstances. Other than the IT outage that delayed our sale we personally found our conveyancer to be spot on for communication, response times and efficiency. Sad to hear about the woes of others, we can empathise with your plight, earlier in the year someone in our chain pulled out on exchange day, apparently in a 'fit of pique'. Our buyers had to resell their property. The old saying "patience is a virtue" has tested us to the limit.

I just want to give a little hope to people still waiting for contact or updates, I myself was searching through reviews desperate to see that sales were still completing, so I just wanted to write a short review to say I have now heard and am completing this week, I was waiting and submitting the form, with no contact, but when Ali my solicitor rang me back she was so apologetic and I just couldn’t loose my temper as it really wasn’t her fault, I was terrified mine would fall through, so I just wanted to give anyone still waiting a little hope

My vendor is using this solicitor. I'm aware there has been an IT problem over the last few days however the whole chain has been ready to exchange since (atleast) mid September and it's now 15th November. Zero communication. Perhaps I'm paranoid because I've been stung before but I'm suspicious there might be a bit more to it. We'll see.

Told completion date was ok, but now told delays in exchange of contracts saying they are waiting bank statements from buyer when previously we were told everything was sent. Confused and feel it’s just excuses and delays for what reason I’m not sure.

Like the online facility to upload documents and see progress of sale. Assigned conveyancer, was difficult to communicate with, when asked questions were asked, i.e why are you asking for documents that I have sent previously and believed them to be the correct ones? She responded in defensive and patronizing manner, without any full explanation of 'why' . She was then unavailable when the sale reached exchange stage. This turned into a blessing in terms of communication, as the person who picked up the case, was friendly and professional and explained what had previously been unexplained and I felt supported through the final and stressful stage. However, I was disappointed that I had the cover the cost of indemnity insurance and expedition fee. I feel with better communication / explanations by initial conveyancer, these cost could have been avoided.

ZERO STARS! Absolutely horrific experience with PPL who's we now name "P*** Poor Lawyers". They have dragged their heels at every possible opportunity, only working on cases when you chase daily. You never speak to the same person and have made our process double the time frame. Losing the bottom end of the chain due to taking too long with a lack of communication throughout. They only needed to purchase the searches from the previous solicitors when the sale fell through and it took them 6 weeks to obtain! They could have done them twice over in this time! If you want a mental breakdown....hire PPL! For professionalism, speed, continuity and efficiency (and for your own sanity!) GO ELSEWHERE! I am still waiting to move! I think hell might freeze over before we get to move and apparently we have a manager on the case!!

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!! Worse company I have ever used. Please do not use this firm. I own few properties and never had experiece as bad. This is a typical factory type firm who are risk averse and do not care one bit for client. They do not care if you you sale or purchase goes through because they work off template 'computer says no' type format and do not read your emails. They successfully spooked the lender despite providing all the evidence ensuring our purchase falls through. In the end we got rid of rid of them. Honestly if you have been recommended this firm I would immediately request you to run from these crooks
