“I was involved in a sale and decided to withdraw from the market and asked for my document back. 8 months later, after being passed between numerous 'departments' and individuals I still have not received my deeds which they asked for as original copies. I am now told they only have 'scans' which I am supposed to have sent them. It clearly states on their application forms to 'please send original documents where possible and not photocopies or scans'.
They are now telling me that it is perfectly normal to send scans of documents like this, i.e. property deeds!! Which is a method completely open to forgery and misrepresentation.
These people should not be allowed to operate, it's as simple as that. How any agent like WH Brown can advocate appointing this organisation in transactions should be the subject of an inquirt by the estate agents ombudsman.
I will no doubt be going to the legal ombudsman to get compensation for what I am sure are documents that PPL have either discarded or misplaced.”

“Really terrible service from this company. My buyer is using them. Every time my solicitor satisfied one of their queries they came up with another one. This has been going on for almost 7 months. They are now asking for a lease and told my buyer its necessary for the deeds to be registered in his name. This is not true. They gained information don't know how about an internal kitchen wall being removed. This was done over 40 years ago. They did not know these are known as historical changes and told my buyer he had to sign a disclaimer. My solicitor has told them we can put insurance in place regarding the lease. They won't accept it. This experience with them has made me ill. I am now on blood pressure tablets. Absolutely terrible company. Avoid. Get yourself a recommended local solicitor.”

Do not use this company, the letting agency recommended this company to us and I wish we had read the reviews before going with them.
The lack of communication is a joke, they never answer the phone and take around 3 business days to reply back to emails. Over the course of two days, I left three voicemails and 12 missed calls as the query was extremely important. No calls where ever returned or acknowledged.
The list of enquiries changed regularly and were repeated numerous times, even when the sellers solicitor had already provided updates!
Very incompetent, no support or advice actually provided and a real struggle to actually speak to someone, as they simply do not answer the phone.

Six months down the line they are still coming up with queries that should have been dealt with months ago. Unfortunately our buyer and their buyer are using them but it looks like the chain is about to collapse due to PPL's gross incompetency.
The delays are causing huge mental stress for all involved in the chain. They do not respond to queries from the other Estate Agents or Solicitors in the chain. For your own sanity DO NOT USE !”

If I could give no stars I would. What an absolute incompetent, unprofessional, rude and dishonest bunch of people. How they sleep at night I do not know. If I worked for this organisation I would resign out of embarrassment.
Communication - virtually non existent, send over 15 emails to our named conveyancer stately clearly I wanted her to call me on my mobile number, absolutely zero response. Tried to call her on her number and when I did get through, I got through to someone different. Put on hold and nothing, eventually being disconnected.
We were told that our named conveyancer (Karen Coaker) was out of the office, on the phone, not available right now, "I can see her in her office but shes not available now". Eventually told she works from home 100% of the time.
Professional Ability - After four weeks into the conveyancing process we were told they could not act on our behalf as the type of mortgage we had could not be dealt with remotely. We spoke to our mortgage company and they informed us there was nothing they couldn't do remotely and it was a simple process to transfer the mortgage to a new property. Eventually they refused to act for us and we were put in the position of starting the whole process again.
To say they are incompetent and unprofessional is an understatement, legislation needs to be brought in to protect clients, Cowboy organisations of this nature should not be allowed to trade.

“Premier Lawyers are they really lawyers or a bunch of GCSE law students hoping to fraudulently pass their A Levels with a 12 week course on how to extort as much money as possible from duped clients.
Seriously though, it’s now been 7 months with this company and my daughter is no where near in completing on her first home with no chain involved. Excuses after excuses, resent email, recorded deliveries and so forth. Forms that were sent off via email five months ago have been asked for again and again. Recorded deliveries that have been signed for have been lost or misplaced by them. Escalated costs for unnecessary searches added to the bill without consultation from my daughter. Phonecalls never answered, emails ignored. This company is an absolute nightmare. Please AVOID at all costs, for your own sake, health and wellbeing. This company will drag you down.”
