“Used preppers shop often. Usually great, but am still waiting for a tent I ordered. Have received no explanation of delay. If this had been my only purchase it would be a one star review. Only previous good service has made it three star.”

“Unfortunately described simply as a crossbow for Australian customs The traditional warrior type of crosdbow is banned in Australia so my import has been seized by customs. Had I forseen this issue I would have suggested a more inoccuous descpition for Australian customs Gayle Potter Western Australia”

“I have bought the MRE meals and they are good value. However,I would prefer a list of what is actually in stock rather than seeing items that are on pre-order than having to scroll back to the beginning again.”

“I like the shop and prices,but unfortunately it let's itself down in my opinion with bad customer service,on my orders there's always something missing which are pit of stock or on back order but your not notified of this. I've been waiting for some ration packs which were out of stock for nearly two months with no notification if there in or not,diving torch,and Austrian army shirts still waiting for frustrating as I'm not sure when any of this is coming or its been forgotten about.”

“Bit dissapointed with the selection i recieved. Ordered 20 meals but only got 3 choices. I would expect a better selection from 20. Mostly veg and chickpea biryani a few chicken curry and rice and omelette. Good job a like curried food 😂”

The amount of different menus does fluctuate depending on stock availability as rations are so difficult to get at the minute. We do always update the listing to reflect how many are available at the time of ordering. At the time of your order it was advertised as only 2 different menu's so the warehouse must have luckily been able to find a few extra's for you.

“They sell some things that are difficult to get hold of, and the prices can be good on some items. But there are a lot of negatives. Their delivery charge is high, as the only option is next day courier delivery. They have a countdown on the product pages, saying if you order by a certain time you'll get next day delivery. Don't believe it. The last two orders I placed weren't sent out until the next day, so they arrived a day later than expected. The website looks amateurish. There are countless spelling and grammar mistakes, and the emails they send often contain errors too. As a business owner, I'd be embarrassed to put my name to a site like that. It made me wonder if they were equally as bad in other areas, maybe they employ people to pick orders who can't count - and that turned out to be the case. I ordered 100 of an item and only received 94.”

Hi Jeff, Thanks for your in-depth review. I am surprised that you have so many concerns but still ordered from us and we've also never had any contact from you until this review. With regards to delivery, we do only have one option which is an express next day shipping. The price we charge is lower than the actual cost price of shipping. The only way to reduce the real cost of shipping is to increase the price of the products but the customer still gets charged the price one way or another so we prefer be be transparent on the cost of it. With regards to dispatch, you did order approximately 45 minutes after the same day dispatch cut off. For instance your last order was placed on the afternoon of the 6th, dispatched on the 7th and arrived by 8am on the 8th. Im sorry you feel our website is so amateurish, we rather like it, and so do the hundreds of thousands of visitors each month but each to there own I suppose. It must have been good enough to convince you to place an order ;) With regards to miscounting, Iv just checked your latest order and the highest quantity of any item was 50 coffee pouches, there wasn't 100 of any item. Have you miscounted those perhaps?

“Had a bad experience , ordered 50 pack of isotoincs mixed and received 50 guava flavour the same smelt awful and horrible taste , did email several times still no reply , fruit sweets were nice but mostly melted in pack. , have ordered other items still to try .”

“I am happy with the products have ordered multiple times here, BUT I was meant to receive 2 parcels and one came incorrect so it got sent back to dpd and I was told my parcel was lost and to contact sender I have emailed multiple times since last Thursday and have mailed on facebook and tried to phone no luck didn’t want to do this but I’m missing half my order and getting ignored I will post pictures of emails I have for evidence if ordering keep order small as if anything happens u will be ignored”

“The Preppers Shop website is all right, even very quick dispatch but the main problem is shipping. I have received email from UPS that delivery will be next day but finally was 5 days later even I have paid for express delivery.”

“The shipment was fast and well packaged with lots of cardboard. Terrible costumer support. Had to email 4 or 5 times to get an answer. Sadly the 3 USA MRE random menus were all the same.”

“I've bought twice from preppers. Once I was very happy with a great quality piece. The 2nd was a £7 mystery box. I got basically imported rubbish...But £7 what should I expect.”

We charge £4.95 for next day delivery postage. This is far below the cost price for the service. Its all quoted upfront so you are aware of the shipping costs before you are shopping. If you wasn't happy why did you purchase, pay the cost and then leave a negative review.
