“Profile Financial Solutions looked at my SIPP and told me the management charges were a bit high. So I agreed to move it, the whole process was smooth but seemed to take longer than I thought although I have not done this before so I cannot judge. The only thing is I seem to have duplicate documentation about my new plan. Though better too much documentation than not enough. Looking at the projection, it was well worth doing.”

“Overall very pleased with the advice and service given, but with the changing pension laws now and hearing of people being fleeced of their savings wasn't happy with doing it all over the phone speaking person to person would have been better especially if I an older person, good service otherwise”

“If I'm honest I was very sceptical about this sort of review done at a distance and as the result of a cold call. Doubts were heightened when asked to send personal information ... in two tranches. However having made checks and been re-assured I went ahead and the telephone process was no different to previous "face to face" meetings but more efficient. Report was thorough and recommendations appear sound. Rates for transfer and ongoing charges were competitive from the small amount of research/comparison I did. I trust that the ongoing reviews will also prove financially beneficial....compared to previous poor experiences regarding the lack of pension reviews.”

“Very happy with the service so far. The lady who I spoke to on the phone and who set all this up for me was very helpful and good , as I needed a lot of explaining to deal with what the best options was. she was very polite and very understanding and made it so much easier for me to understand. “Overall I am very pleased with the advice and help I have received. Steve Donelly was particularly good as I am a financial idiot - he explained everything clearly and concisely and was happy to go over things as requested. The whole transfer process went smoothly and I was kept informed by mail and telephone in a timely manner. I look forward to my annual review.”

“The service was honest and very helpful and i never felt under any pressure to follow the recommendations. Even when one of my pensions couldn't be moved i was told straight away and thought it was refreshing to be told rather than firms just looking out for themselves. The pension i could move was not making me any money and with the help of my recommendations i should have more to look forward to in the future. Thank you profile solutions.”

“Did not really know what to expect from this review of my pension arrangements, but the advice seemed impartial, and accurate for my needs. Time will tell though as to whether this advice was good or not. No complaints with the service offered, and it all progressed smoothly.”

“I was worried about using an advisor but I had the option to use the services or not and although you pay a fee I saved in the long run as my current pension wasn't performing as it should and I was paying over the odds for management fees to them. I will save on fees and hopefully make more in the long term on a higher performance pension. I was given Useful advice on my options as I can cash my pension in at 55 in May 2015 but I now realise it's worth keeping it in unless I do something like pay off a mortgage as I would lose 50% to the tax man with just a third tax free. Didnt know that before. All in all I'm glad I went for it and I would recommend getting your pension reviewed as mine sat for years with the same company and doing very little. Very happy that I swapped nothing lost as consultation is free and you just pay a percentage of your pension if u go ahead and swap. It comes out of your pension so you don't need to find any money. Worth trying to see what they find. You can always say no Thanks.”
