“Having had a bad experience and been given poor advice with a previous pension review I was very sceptical about trusting to another pension review over the phone. However after speaking to Independent Financial Solutions all my fears were allayed. My adviser Mark Collins explained my review in a professional, polite, friendly and in a unhurried manner. He answered my concerns and gave me good advice, such was the professional way in which my pension was transferred I have now asked them to look into transferring another pension so that my pension is in one place rather than scattered across different pension providers. I am awaiting their response at the time of writing this review. So happy I was introduced to Independent Financial Solutions, I would highly recommend.”

“The review was courteous and undertaken in an unhurried yet efficient manner. Details were given and questions answered as issues arose. Research was undertaken by listening and seeking our mind on matters, both in wider and specific contexts. We experienced a 'personal' service. The overall feeling was that we were in trustworthy hands.”

“The original assistance and advise was satisfactory but once I had confirmed the transfer, there were no updates until the transfer was complete. All correspondence came from my current Pension provider and it was at this point I was advised by my current provider that my pension had decreased and even though it had decreased I would still be charged the same fee by Profile. The fee was 4.5% of my pension at the initial discussions, I took a month or so to digest the information and make a decision, I was never told that if the pension amount dropped the fee would still be the same. I was under the impression the fee would be 4.5% of the transfer amount. The pension had already been transferred by the time I received all the correspondence. However, I did manage to cancel under the 30 day right to cancel scheme and currently everything is in the process of transferring back to my original pension provider. I would not recommend using Profile, as I stated at the beginning of this feedback, they were very accommodating at the beginning but once you moved forward with their proposed scheme, the customer service and attention to detail falls by the wayside.”

“Helpful, all well explained, friendly. Whilst I know next to nothing about performance of funds / pensions in general, I sensed I was talking with people who certainly did, and I feel comfortable shifting previous plans into a new plan as recommended.”

“Very friendly and helpful team every phone conversation was dealt with in very professional manner. The firm who I was transferring my pension from were dragging things out but each time I phoned your staff did everything they could to help things progress and when they had answers from the other firm I was updated accordingly and nothing seemed to be too much trouble.”
