“My husband and I and our high-school aged daughter traveled to the Galapagos over the Christmas holiday (Dec. 2016) with Quasar and I cannot recommend this trip more highly! Every aspect of the trip was perfect, including the food, the on-boat accommodations, and all of the staff. The Quasar folks (Diane especially) who assisted with our pre-trip arrangements were also excellent! The naturalist/guides on the ship with us were knowledgeable and helpful, whether we were snorkeling or hiking/exploring on shore. They even took photos (including underwater photos), which we received on an SDM card free of charge at the end of the trip !! One major advantage of the smaller ship that Quasar uses ("The Grace") is that our group could move much more nimbly in and out of various snorkel and hiking excursions than large ships which have many more people to organize and coordinate. We spent no time waiting for others in our group -- lots of time doing things. And we got to know (and enjoyed) everyone on our ship. A trip of a life-time, which we will all remember fondly !!”

“We had such a fabulous time on our Galapagos cruise. The itinerary was excellent and we were up close and personal with so many different animals. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, and the food and facilities were perfect.”

“We loved our trip in the Galapagos with Quasar. The ship Evolution was a beauty, with large staterooms and common areas. All the crew, from the captain to the bartenders, were welcoming, and fun. We hiked and swam everyday. Our guides made sure we were early to the islands to avoid the heat, and crowds. For the most part, it seemed we were the only people on the islands, sharing the natural beauty with the animals”

“I am a person who travels a LOT, both for work as well as pleasure and I can honestly say this was one of the best trips I have ever taken. There is literally nothing I would change. Everything about Quasar, from the booking process through the trip itself was handled absolutely perfectly. Our journey included a land portion in Ecuador followed by a cruise to the Galapagos. The ship was the perfect size - it felt very personal, but never like you couldn't be independent. The crew was exceptional. For me a highlight was the guides - I'm sure they have done it all a thousand times, yet somehow they made very hike, snorkel, etc seem fresh and engaging. If you (like me) have always dreamed about a trip to see Darwin's inspiration, trust your journey to Quasar and you will return home with all the magic intact.”

“I can not recommend Quasar Expeditions enough. The itinerary truly optimized our time in the Galapagos. From day one they were detail oriented and highly organized, yet flexible at the same time; allowing us to fully enjoy the spontaneity of nature without skipping a beat. Would definitely travel with them again! Shout out to our nature guides, Sam and Carolina! So knowledgeable and fun :)”

“We LOVED our Galapagos cruise. From the friendly and accommodating crew, the lovely boat, the wonderful naturalists, Raffa and Sam, and fabulous wildlife and snorkeling, it truly was the trip of a lifetime for us. We were in awe!! We have already recommended Quasar to those who have asked about our trip and will not hesitate to continue to recommend this cruise in the future. Now we just need to check out other Quasar destinations!”

“Trip to Galapagos with Quasar was 5 star, most excellent! Everyone was professional from the room stewards to the dining staff and chef, and especially the naturalist guides. The daily excursions were well done, and varied, and well led. Our guides were so enthusiastic about the islands, their history, and their future. We thoroughly enjoyed every single day.”

“This trip was extraordinary, everything went off without a hitch. La Selva lodge and the Amazon experience was wonderful, and the Galapagos were amazing. Our ship, the Grace, was beautiful and very comfortable. All guides and staff were great, and couldn't do enough. For us, this was the trip of a lifetime. Can't think what might be better!”

“We travelled with Quasar Expeditions and found them to be an excellent company. The highlight was a seven day stay on the M/Y Grace. The ship was stunning in every way, delicious food, wonderful staff, excellent service. The attention to our comfort was truly amazing: from the Captain welcoming us back on board, drinks on deck, hot tub and drinking chocolate after snorkel was a great treat The guides was excellent, detailed briefing every night made sure you really knew what you were seeing and experiencing. The small groups and detailed commentary meant we really learnt a lot about the animals, plants and geology. The content was top class for anyone with prior knowledge or who had done lot of preparation. We extended our trip to drive from Guayaquil to Quito and apart from altitude sickness as we reached 14,000 feet we had a wonderful experience. The hotels they arranged were gorgeous, especially, the MaisonAlcazar. beautiful Cuenca. We had a very thoughtful and knowledgeable guide called Franco there. We would wholeheartedly recommend using this company and I tend to do so ourselves.”

“I cannot begin to describe how perfect our trip was. Everything from the initial scheduling and arrangements through the final wave goodbye at the airport when our guide delivered us on time for our flight home. Rafael and Walter were fantastic guides...friendly, warm, humorous, and brilliantly knowledgeable. Melissa was the quintessential cruise director and The Grace an elegant home on the water. Thanks for the perfect trip. I have no criticism whatsoever.”

“Quasar arranged my dream vacation to Galapagos for a landmark birthday. Beautiful vessel, amazing guides, friendly and competent crew, and delicious food. Expeience and attention to detail was evident in every aspect, from clensing towel upon return from excursions, variety in meals, amble delicious snacks, and every luxury. Our very experienced guide even arranged to share photos with passengers before we disembarked. I cannot think of an area in which to improve - maybe a larger wine selection for dinner? I look forward to my next Quasar expedition. This trip was 100% perfect.”
