My recent encounter with Quick Lease Car Rental in Dubai has left me utterly disappointed and frustrated. What initially seemed like a convenient option turned into a nightmare of hidden charges and poor communication.
From the onset, there was a lack of transparency regarding charges. No one bothered to inform me about the plethora of hidden fees that awaited me upon returning the car. It was only after I handed back the vehicle that they began concocting reasons to deduct amounts from my security deposit.
Despite my explicit inquiry about the return date, the staff assured me that I could bring back the car on the 28th of March. Accordingly, I scheduled the pickup for that day. However, to my dismay, I received an invoice post-return, loaded with additional rental charges. Their justification? I had apparently booked the pickup for 4 PM instead of the agreed-upon 12:35 PM.
Attempting to address this discrepancy proved to be a futile exercise. Each time I reached out to them, I was met with indifference and unhelpfulness. Their response was consistently dismissive, with claims that nothing could be done to rectify the situation.
This experience has left me deeply disillusioned with Quick Lease Car Rental. Not only did they fail to uphold their end of the bargain regarding transparency and communication, but their customer service left much to be desired. As a cautionary tale, I urge others to exercise caution when dealing with this rental agency to avoid falling victim to their deceptive practices and exorbitant hidden charges.”

Car was defective, horn was not working at all. Inside it was too dirty. No one came to replace the car when we complained as well. Plus it’s been a month now, and every now and then they are charging big amounts for nothing. We are going to complain cybercrime for misusing our credit card’s information.”

I have been with this company for 2.5years taking annual car rentals. I always had excellent account managers who resolved all issues and treated me well. But now the company has gone completely downhill.
My bag was stolen (with my car key in it) 8 days ago. I got a replacement delivered (which took 5 hours to arrive) and even with a police report I am being charged aed1500 because it's not covered by insurance. I speak to Mohsin who arranges a car exchange for me and we discuss holding off on the payment until everything is sorted.
3 days ago, while at work I notice random amounts have been attempted to be taken from my account - multiple transactions - 1500, 1000, 575 - which goes through and leaves me with aed89 in my account. They attempt another 300. I call twice and Yasir tells me accounts have closed manager gone for prayer, now he's gone for iftar. I promise he will call you back tomorrow.
12:30pm the next day I call because still nothing and Omari tells me - accounts not open today. No manager here. I will get them to call you tomorrow when they open 10am.
09:45am today, 1000 was taken from my account (money I had borrowed to pay my rent!). I call and Maha tells me impossible to refund let me sort out with the team and call you back later.
It's 5:15pm I've just spoken to another person because no callback. Account now closed, no manager - same story.
I have already paid my car rental and Salik for this month. This was an additional charge that isn't time specific, but now I can't afford my rent.
I NEVER AUTHORISED THESE CHARGES. THEY ARE LIARS AND STEAL FROM YOUR ACCOUNT. DO NOT TRUST. THEY DONT CARE FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I WILL BE MAKING AN OFFICIAL COMPLAINT WITH TRADING STANDARDS”
“They are scammers, stay away from them and make sure to report your card to your bank immediately if you have given them the details. They will charge your card without your permission and of course you will never get your deposit back. I have reported them to police for taking money from my card without permission.”

“WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. After 2 years of being a customer, I was treated with complete dishonesty, was lied on a promise on the lease that I froze. Dominic Dsouza was the worse executive acocunts, you stole the money I paid for 1 month of rent and said I have outstanding amounts (from 2020). I would never recommend to rent with you EVER. “My experience with this company was terrible. From lack of information given to me considering that I am a first time customer and new to the country, to bad customer service and speaking to me in a rude manner, to making me wait outside till some paperwork is done in their parking and having to deal with low mannered team.
It had been a nightmare and would never recommend this company to anybody.
One example is when I rented the car, they have not informed of any traffic rules neither of any additional charges incurred in case of payments to RTA nor the option of upgrading the insurance package. I had to discover all by myself. Another example was when o was returning the car, the sales representative told every time you rent a car you damage it. It means you are a bad driver. I was astonished by this and decided to share my awful experience with them.”
