“I only use electronics to support other hobbies but I have had excellent service from Rapid, all orders have been accurately and quickly executed. Occasional shortages have not delayed delivery of main order and the shortages arrive very quickly at no further cost. I thoroughly recommend Rapid Electronics and wish all mail order firms could be as good”

“Brass earth pin not usable (someone else has pointed out) but I didn't need it. No ventilation slots (I think the larger size may have them). The LED driver I've put in the case makes it quite warm outside; no failure yet. So it worked well for me. Service and delivery from Rapid excellent, exactly as expected.”

“I used Rapid Electronics several times for a project a couple of years ago and found them to be excellent, swift and very reliable. I have just received an order from them for the first time in a while and I am please to report that their service is just the same as before, absolutely first class. My components were particularly well packed and protected inside a much larger box, bigger than necessary really but I'm not complaining! I recommended Rapid Electronics to a close technical associate a while ago and he uses them regularly now too. He is also very happy with the service he has received from them.”

“I have ordered plenty of times from Rapid Electronics and the service is always good. The test of a companies customer service is not when things go well but how they react when things don't go well. While its rare I had one order where some parts were missing, they promptly sorted the missing parts out and they were there the next day. That to me is what's important.”

“Slightly nervous about the new web site changes. The quick lists in sensible order ( eg, for capacitors, 10V devices in ascending order of capacity, then 16V and so on. All with quick access to the spec as a pdf. Your selection by category usually makes some sort of sense. If you want to see how to make it impossible, have a look at the RS site. Fifty different items in what appears ( to an product designer trying to decide what to specify for production) to be random order with a sort list which does not contain the parameters of interest to him.”
