“I ordered the components I wanted from stocked items easily on the web site. Was pleased that normal postage over £30 was free and that it arrived the next day mid morning. The item were as expected and well packed. Very Pleased JK”

“I have always had superb service from Rapid Electronics and cannot speak highly enough of them. The few small areas where I feel improvements might be made are as follows :- a) I dislike being asked to choose one of three "relevant sectors" (electronics / education / home) when looking for products on their website as I do not want to miss anything that might be filtered out. b) One of Rapid's main competitors (CPC / Farnell) is offering free postage on all on-line orders over £5 compared with £30 at Rapid. This is a relevant factor when deciding where to shop, although I still buy from Rapid when possible. c) There are two areas where product lines could be enhanced :- - hobbyists are finding it very hard to buy project boxes made out of sheet aluminium. It used to be possible to buy them in various sizes with black vinyl covered lids but I am not aware of any supplier in the U.K. that still stocks them. (Rumours are circulating that China is buying up all the aluminium !). - Rapid no longer seem to sell low value radial disc ceramic capacitors (e.g. 1.8 pF / 2.2 pF etc.). The only ones stocked are surface mount. There are a lot of hobbyists out there who are still using "through the hole" components. Overall though, I am 100% happy with Rapid. The company is to be congratulated on its consistently good service.”

“Can't praise these guys highly enough for both pricing and variety of stock. They always seem to have what I need, and in the case of generic items such as USB cables etc they are 20% of the price of Maplins for example.”

“This is in response to my first order. Excellent range of products (not just electronics), competitive prices, prompt despatch of in-stock items and good packaging. Generally good online experience. Just one small disappointment: one item was shown as in stock at time of ordering, but actually was not, so had to wait several days. At least the other items were sent straight away.”

“I ordered the Multi Saw blades over a weekend. First thing on the Monday morning, I received a text giving a one hour time slot when UK mail would be delivering and, true to their word, the order was received within the time frame. The articles were well packed and clearly marked. An excellent service all round!”
