“I did not find the website easy to use I really want a red and black set of wires and ended up with two black. If you are dealing with a shop the assistant would probably say are you sure you want both reels to be black. The double switch was of poor quality compared with say MK. In this case I wanted a switch that could be used outside to protect the plug as well. If one goes to say Maplins shop you can talk to someone. I need to be more alert when buying from Rapid. The service is however quick, next day service which takes some beating.”

“wide range of stock. competitive prices. free delivery also applies to items that have gone out of stock. Request to your Buyers: So far I have not received any FAKE or relabeled devices. Rapid MUST ensure their reputation is not put at risk by guaranteeing they ONLY supply genuine product and guarantee to replace at their own cost, if any Fakers get into the supply chain.”

“Generally speaking a good company but worried they are starting to get a little bit too much like RS Components. Multiple typos (and some really confusing ones) in the catalogues and some of the products are Discontinued as soon as you try to order from the freshly printed catalogue. Most of the time, I am very pleased with Rapid though, usually cheaper than RS for small quantities and often competitive with Farnell / JPR etc. The "End column pricing" offers used to be very good but for quantity purchases, end column pricing on some of the more expensive items is very much a "token gesture", though small items (semi conductors etc) can become excellent value with RAPID if buying with end column pricing. The only reason I didn't give them the full 5 stars is that the rapidly discontinued items and catalogue errors (and website quirks) are often unhelpful at best: eg: A picture of a relay with a price flash along the lines of "From just 15p" - which although obviously too cheap for a decent relay is nonetheless annoying when you then find they are talking about a "clip" - or showing and detailing a range of five products with ordering codes for one. They need a MUCH better proofreading system.”

“Ordered the goods late afternoon and they arrived mid morning the following day, so I can't fault the service. The product delivered was Warton Activ8 102 stainless steel soldering flux which up till now is not doing what it "says on the tin". I've sought help from Warton but have thus far still failed to tin the ends of cycle gear and brake cables to prevent them fraying.”

“Postage always good and quick and there is a good range of components and products, although some areas taking inductors as an example have a limited variety. My only complaint would be that sometimes product's specifications are specifications are incorrect and the data sheet should be consulted.”

“Good range of products at generally excellent prices. Generally good service. The product I required was 'miss picked' on my last order and was not available when I pointed this out. As a collection customer I was asked to return when the item was back in stock; I feel the item might have been posted to me as this was not my fault.”

“1. Frequent buyers -resellers should have better discount scheme. 2. Calculation for international freight depends on weight volume or on value? 3. More realistic -waiting time -for back order items 4. Excellent service nevertheless for all stages of the order 5. Your web helps us to make hypothetical buys at time of quoting -good feature that remains in the selection basket.”
