“Given the low prices and outstanding customer service, I highly recommend Rapid Electronics to everyone. Postage is reasonable and items are well packaged. Despatch times are second to none. I recently had a small issue with an order (a payment problem and not caused by Rapid). They responded to my email within two hours and the problem was immediately resolved. You may find an on-line retailer to equal Rapid Electronics but you won't find anyone better!”

“I've used this company over the last 20 years or so - component range has expanded enormously since the the early days. Price wise Rapid compares favourably with RS and Farnell. Next day free delivery for £30+ order is particularly attractive.”

“Generally speaking a good company but worried they are starting to get a little bit too much like RS Components. Multiple typos (and some really confusing ones) in the catalogues and some of the products are Discontinued as soon as you try to order from the freshly printed catalogue. Most of the time, I am very pleased with Rapid though, usually cheaper than RS for small quantities and often competitive with Farnell / JPR etc. The "End column pricing" offers used to be very good but for quantity purchases, end column pricing on some of the more expensive items is very much a "token gesture", though small items (semi conductors etc) can become excellent value with RAPID if buying with end column pricing. The only reason I didn't give them the full 5 stars is that the rapidly discontinued items and catalogue errors (and website quirks) are often unhelpful at best: eg: A picture of a relay with a price flash along the lines of "From just 15p" - which although obviously too cheap for a decent relay is nonetheless annoying when you then find they are talking about a "clip" - or showing and detailing a range of five products with ordering codes for one. They need a MUCH better proofreading system.”

“Ordered the goods late afternoon and they arrived mid morning the following day, so I can't fault the service. The product delivered was Warton Activ8 102 stainless steel soldering flux which up till now is not doing what it "says on the tin". I've sought help from Warton but have thus far still failed to tin the ends of cycle gear and brake cables to prevent them fraying.”
