“On my last order I did have problems with the wrong goods arriving. This has never ever happened before. I phoned Rapid and they were very apologetic and rectified the problem quickly. I would certainly recommend them.”

“I am a hobbyist, so I don't buy large quantities of anything, however you do carry a lot of incidental items that I need from time to time. If I haven't ordered from you that much it is because of trying to save shipping costs I have tried to get items I could buy from you from my usual supplier. You are however, my number one go-to supplier for Weller TCP soldering iron parts - I still have 2 of these and have purchased parts for these on several occasions. When I made a complaint about wrongly labelled items delivered you dealt with the issue eventually, but I did have to persuade you quite strongly - this shouldn't be the case. Lastly you are what I would consider 'local' and I think it is important to support local businesses.”

“A real pleasure to do business with. Even with a small order, price was fair and dispatch/delivery was lightning-fast. Two major innovations make this company stand out amongst the competition: (1) The online "chat" facility to get quick answers, and (2) a geographic telephone number instead of those wretched 0845 & 0871 numbers. Plus, a relatively cheap (£30) minimum spend to receive free postage. Yes, I'll be ordering again. They won't get rich off my modest orders, but I'll be recommending them to everyone I know for their electronics needs.”

“Rapid has a good variety of parts - often at lower cost than competitive catalog distributors. Free shipping over £30 is useful. I use them occasionally for particular parts I need - normally have no problems. Sometimes things get removed from their stockholding list for various reasons which can be a nuisance re-sourcing, but that happens anywhere.”
