We are extremely sorry to hear about the issue you faced with the LAB not working properly during the EDU-260 sessions from the 25th to the 27th of March. This is definitely not the kind of experience we want our valued customers to have, and we apologise for any inconvenience caused. However, there were some mitigating circumstances. As a follow-up and after an investigation, there were some issues with our labs on Day 1, but from the second day onwards, labs worked well for all other students. You encountered further credential issues on the PANW CSP Portal because they have enabled the OKTA MFA. Unfortunately, that was outside our control. However, I'm told you've received some additional days in lieu to make up for it. If not, please notify your Red Education account manager, and we will look into it further on your behalf. Lab was horrible. Lab was so slow it was unusable.

Unnecessary DRM implemented on Lab instructions and course materials. Labs had multiple faults that the instructor had to spend time fixing during the course. Thankfully the instructor was very knowledgeable and was able to fill in the gaps.

Please ensure your labs are working and accessible. I ended up losing most of the 3rd day of class due to problems with lab environment resources (firewall and desktop clients) not working or just losing connectivity. This problem affected most of the other students as well, making for a very poor experience.

The training is insufficient to pass the CCES 156-535 exam. The book provided with this course only gives about 20% of what is actually covered in the exam. And then there is also a mistake in the book with regards to cplic print command. I would not recommend taking this course to pass the CCES exam. Rather use the CP online harmony deployment guide and R81 deployment guides. Then secondly, the instructor that provided the Singapore course was really not good. He didn't engage the audience and just rambled on. Also, just said to follow the instructions in the book and then he disappeared. At some point, he was presenting with no audio and didn't respond to us. Almost like a recording that didn't work correctly.

Rededucation has done everything right, except for one of the most important things - providing a functional document. All lab set ups, instructions and instructors were fantastic. But due to the documents not containing actual content in the index (or 'outlines' as mimeo calls it) it's a complete nightmare trying to navigate. Sure, I can find the labs easy, but now I have to scroll through hundreds of pages to find the bloody content for the lab! For a course that costs $5k+ you'd expect to be left with functional materials.

I'm sorry to read this, I'd like to understand in more detail where we went wrong and see if we can assist you further with the training, my apologies, we'll be in contact soon including any further remedial work we need to do to assist you with.
There is nothing about this class or the process to take the class to recommend using Red Education. The interface for the labs is bad. The class structure was bad. The instructor was hard to understand from time to time. There were several instances where she clearly did not understand what I said. Even the survey at the end was really annoying and poorly done. There are several spots where there needs to be a "None" answer, like what is the next Palo Alto class you intend to take. Or especially the one about "is there any other vendor class you would be interested in taking that Red provides", there needs to be a "No, I would not take another class with Red" My coworker put it best, "This is like getting Palo Alto training from Wish" P.S. Red Education please do not contact me about this review or my survey. I do not wish to spend any more time on this and will not be willing to speak to you further.

Schedule time of training not suitable. As this is an online training, at least provide the link to download the training material 1 week ahead so we can better prepare during the course.

Hi Siew, Thank you for your feedback. After an internal investigation, and unless our records are incorrect,... the courseware materials should have been received sometime PM-Wednesday 2nd March direct from the vendor, with the course commencing five days later, Monday 7th and a local start time at 9.30 am. Sorry, you feel this wasn't acceptable and worth a one-star response; however, I'll have the account manager reach out and just double check this information wasn't correct. Thank You
The lab isn't working 100% which is the most important part of this training.

After investigation, we have found that the requests for a recording, PowerPoint handout and hardcopy manual you were hoping to obtain are blocked by the Vendor due to copyright, so unfortunately out of our hands. Please feel free to reach out to your account manager if you'd like to discuss further.
Traning was not fruitful as described by the trainer. The trainer must use real scenarios and device integration. The training material was not good as expected.

The instructor was descent but gave a really weird best practice of upgrading one firewall and waiting a week to verify traffic is good. Then upgrading the second member of the cluster. Labs were complete junk. We had to skip some lecture because the labs were broke sooo many times. I WILL NEVER USE RED. A waste of money!

Dear Anonymous, I'm must apologise for this situation. We used a third-party lab which caused this issue unexpectedly. Unfortunately, this really impacted the user experience and on behalf of the business, I apologise. This is by far no excuse and ultimately our fault. If not already... we'll be in contact to see if we can offer further support and once again our sincerest apologies. We pride ourselves on exceptional service and we've fallen well short, this time.
There were a number of annoying things (like issues with lab access and so on), but the key points boiled down to this: - Despite being training sessions specifically for Vocus, the trainer had no idea of how we were using the Arista boxes. This lack of knowledge invalidated most of the training. - The usage of marketing videos in a technical course was both unprofessional and uninformative. As an engineer I spend a lot of time trying to get past marketing information to understand the actual significant information behind that. I expect training to help with that, not add to it.
