I'm so sorry. I will have someone follow up with you. Expect a call soon. Regards Mike Baird CEO Red Education
The lab VMs had poor resource allocations, the theme of the class was "my labs are slow and X item is crashing" , the trainer

Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your experience with Red Education. I apologise for the issues you encountered during your session; I'll have someone reach out. Regards Mike Baird CEO Red Education
I wanted to give a 5-star review. Unfortunately, the experience was poor. Any course with lab work should be conducted in a F2F environment. Too many logistic problems and trying to solve those problems remotely is even harder. For an online learning environment, the ratio of instructor to student is problematic.
Helpful Report
The Content was good, however, the training was substandard and rather boring as the instructor was just reading out of slides and highlighting what was already highlighted in the text. The trainer also had a very flat tone throughout the training making it really boring.

My first experience wasnt soo good, i hope you guys improove the content delivery to the students for a better experience.

Thank you for your feedback. Upon investigation with the team, it was discovered that you had provided two different email addresses, which led to the need to consolidate them into the correct one. This process took some time as we had to escalate this to the Kortext support team and correct the mistake as we couldn't do it. The delay was on their end and not ours. Regards Mike Baird Chief Executive Officer Red Education
Interactive yes. Insightful, for sure not. We have different employees doing at different times the same course and instructors should be aware of previous complaints done in the past about the same course. The instructor did not do his homework preparing the environment for students and instead suggested all to enter their company credentials in an INSECURE environment (specifically created for the course). Instructor was rude, impolite and lacked patience. At one point suggested our company was "not good" for having a customer sitting the same course (in our defense juniors are invited to take this course before accessing our XDR). From our customer perspective, this course was a complete waste of time and after experiencing a smooth, helpful and efficient deployment the person was not comfortable with a stranger "bad-mouthing" and exposing their reputation for hiring allegedly a non-competent company. One of our colleagues that had some experience in XDR stated that the instructor had enough experience to read out and "translate the slides" but very deficient in any aspect not explicitly covered.

Thank you for the feedback. We will be investigating internally to understand what happened on the course. In the meantime, I will have your account manager reach out to you to get any further information you'd like to share. Thanks Stuart Frampton Global Operations Director
Instructor and content were excellent. However, repeated issues with connecting to the lab environment prevented completion of training labs and persists to this day.

Thank you for your feedback. I really appreciate you taking the time to let us know about your experience with Red Education. I understand that the instructor and content were excellent; however, we've had some unforeseen issues with the lab that have caused us outages. Unfortunately, we've experienced technical difficulties. I suspect you've already had conversations with our sales department to provide additional lab time; if not, I'll have them approach you. My apologies for the inconvenience. Regards Mike Baird CEO Red Education
I had issues with the Labs. 80% of lab time was spent troubleshooting basic issues of the labs that were provided using a VM host. The trainer was good and tried his best to fix the issue but that was not his primary job. My feedback would be to have an extra pod before training so that students can swap immediately in case when computers decide not to work on that day.

Thank you so much for your honest feedback. We truly appreciate you taking the time to let us know about your experience with our labs. We understand how frustrating it can be when faced with basic issues while trying to learn something new. Your feedback has been extremely useful, and we have acted upon your suggestion and will now build and include a spare pod available as a backup, just in case. Excellent suggestion! Thank you again for your time and for sharing your experience with us. Regards Mike Baird Managing Director Red Education
I don't know if my experience is the norm or just a fluke, but it seemed like nothing worked for this course and we weren't given what was promised in terms of lab time and instruction. Virtual lab infrastructure didn't work at all for the first day, so we couldn't start labs until day 2. I would have preferred that our instructor would have just pivoted to presenting content and slides for that day so that we could jump into labs for the rest of the time while we were waiting for servers to be fixed. I can at least say that the CCSE manual is helpful, and I will probably use that to help with checkpoint upgrades and migrations in the future. Vinny is a decent instructor, I just think he was very unlucky with the lab setup and had to troubleshoot on the fly, which is unfortunate.

My sincere apologies; we had an issue with labs that was unavoidable, and staff were working furiously behind the scenes to minimize disruption. On behalf of the business, I apologize; however, technical issues do come up sometimes. We always have our students' best interests at heart. I'll have someone reach out and make it up to you. Once again, my apologies for the inconveniences we've caused to tarnish the overall experience. Regards Mike Baird Managing Director Red Education
the labs must be schedule during the training. Outside days of traning there is normal job and it is dificult finish labs

Thank you very much for your feedback. We truly appreciate you taking the time to let us know about your experience with Red Education. We're sorry to hear about the labs and understand your difficulty in completing them. It's challenging to share labs in Maestro, and we can only grant access to one user at a time due to vendor course restrictions that we have no control over. We apologize for the inconvenience; however, the remaining courses provide full access, and we hope to see you again on other Infinity Courses in the future. Once again, I'm sorry for the inconvenience. Thank you again for bringing this to our attention. Regards Mike Baird Managing Director
On the first day the instructor was almost an hour late getting it started because it appears that they can't tell the difference between EST and CST and no communication with each other on when it's supposed to start. The next day was also late getting started. Instructor had a lot of language issues with instruction and had to take breaks a lot. To make things worse, they decided to blow away the past 2 days of labs that we spent days building up. So by the beginning of the 3rd and final day of training, we lost everything because they just can't keep things up and running for a period of time. This class was embarrassing to take and almost a complete waste of time and very unorganized. There was a lab and course chapter that was off and some of the software we needed to run and install failed to work. I, the student, actually had to step in a couple of times to get things to work and figure out work arounds. I understand that they are wanting to try and make up for some of these things, however, I had to take time off of work to do this and I can't just take another couple of days to do it all over again.

Hi , Apologies for this; there was an unforseen issue with the lab script that shut down lab access. It's the first time this has occurred, but we have implemented changes so it won't occur again. I'll have the operations manager approach you for a further discussion to see what we can do. My sincere apologies for this inconvenience; we always strive for a good experience, but we definitely fell short this time.
The class was not well organized. It was based mostly on labs. If you don't have a little prior knowledge on checkpoint you would be lost. The labs where we'll written and quite straightforward until you hit a snag. The instructor was respectful and available to help. Quite knowledgeable on the subject. More control over the class wouod be nice because the more experienced attendees were too jumpy and this kept distracting the instructor. The worst part was the VMs that got erased and ended the class abruptly. That was a fatal error that spoiled my enter experience of the training. Totally unacceptable. Offering access to the VMs at Red education's own convenience was not nice at all hence my low score.

I'm so sorry to hear that occurred. I'll have Operations look into what happened and report back to me, and I'll have someone get back to you as soon as possible with an answer. My sincerest apologies, however, I appreciate your feedback. Thank You.
lab is not good

Hi Billy, I apologise for the inconvenience and will have the Account Manager get in touch with you to learn more about the problem and any necessary corrective action. Thank you for your feedback and we will be in contact soon. Thanks
Not sure if I will attend another Red Education course. There was a language barrier in my last class. Not that he didn't do a good enough job speaking, I feel he didn't add any more than what was in the book to read because of said barrier. And if that is the case, I am better off just reading the book myself.

I'm sorry to read that. We value your feedback and thank you for this information. I've spoken with the Ops Manager and think we have a way to make it up to you. We'll ask one of our local instructors when they are available and at your convenience. I've asked him to approach you personally so keep an eye out for his email and discuss your availability. We'll also communicate this internally as well. Thank You for your support and feedback. Apologies for the sub-standard experience.
I have learned LTM and GTM from Red. It was nice but this time It wasn't up to the mark. Even we couldn't complete our assigned practicle. Not happy

Sorry to hear that Sandeep, we checked the formal survey and didn't see any comments from you so I'll have someone reach out ASAP and follow up where we fell short. The remainder of the student's feedback was OK however we must have dropped the ball somewhere so will follow up and look to rectify it. Thank you for letting us know and look to hear from us soon. Thank You.
Attended the Check Point Certified VSX Specialist (CCVS). Spent the first hour and a half on day one waiting for the labs to become unbroken. Constant issues with being disconnected from the labs. Day 2 we were unable to complete the lab tasks as files to perform the work were not available. Overall I would not call this course 'Specialist'. It was very light on content and not in depth at all.

Dear Anonymous, I'm so sorry you didn't have a perfect experience. At Red Education, we always strive for perfection however we definitely dropped the ball on this one. We've identified some technical issues which affected your labs degrading the performance speeds. I'll have my Head of Operations call you directly to see what we can do to help improve the situation. Our sincerest apologies however thank you for your honest feedback. We'll endeavour to do our best to turn this around for you. Expect a call today. Thank You.
The trainer seemed to be knowledgeable in the content (Pure Storage Administration) but his delivery was overly repetitive and rambling, to the point it was hard to maintain concentration. The course contained too much content that seemed to be more marketing in nature than relevant to the topic. Labs were not done throughout the day but held to the end of day 2 and 3. It would have aided learning to structure the course to spread the labs out more, providing breaks from content delivery and a chance to put into practice theory directly after learning a module. Only two breaks per day! Not really conducive to retaining lesson content. I found this course schedule of long sessions, delivered in a rambling fashion, with no labs interspersed during the course, quite exhausting. I'd venture to say that this course does not follow industry standard course structure and certainly does not compare favourably to the many other IT courses I have undertaken in the last 20 years. I cannot recommend either this course or training organisation on the strength of my experience.

Thanks, Troy I really appreciate your feedback. Sometimes the Vendor products we train to... vary from Vendor to Vendor so sometimes we struggle to relay the content in an engaging VILT experience. However, that shouldn't be an excuse. It's up to us to think outside the box how we can improve that delivery to ensure it's relevant and engaging. Your comments are both constructive, insightful and very helpful. We will have the Operations Manager do an investigation on the delivery in conjunction with the Instructor and look to implement some of your suggestions. Thank You for this feedback, it helps us to improve the quality control of our deliveries. I do apologise, however ...that the delivery wasn't up to your expectations and hope someday you come back and sit another training event with different vendor content and hopefully, the delivery is to our usual expectation of a five-star performance. Thanks in advance.
This CCSA course conducted by Jamal is really one of the worst class I have ever attended: - Course contents are just covered by reading through slides - Doubts and questions are not clearly explain, but simply flipping back to slides to repeat the slide reading again - Instructor asked too many questions to student without first explaining the fundamental, where the answer is simply in the slides - Two many times when questions asked to instructor, with the answer that the topic is not in the scope but will be covered by CCSE course I would definitely not recommend this class to my colleague.

Hi Qin Yu Lu, I was really disappointed to read this feedback. We always pride ourselves on delivering an exceptional experience and we've not lived up to your expectations. I thank you for your insight and we have discussed this at operations and management level and will be in contact with the respective instructor to raise your concerns and look at any necessary remediation to address these points. On behalf of the company, my apologies for not delivering an exceptional experience, however, thank you for your feedback and you have my promise, this will be addressed to ensure we maintain our high standards across JAPAC.
